Hey everybody! Looking forward to a bout of adventuring with you all. Some notes and upkeep:
1. If you haven't done so already, please put a few of your stats into your character subheading. Please include current/total hit points, armor class (all three), saving throw modifiers, initiative modifier, and perception modifier. Feel free to add other stuff, such as per diem spells or channels or other resources.
2. On your character's page, please include a stat block or link or some other arrangement so that I can find your character's stats in some fashion. Stat block is easiest for me but if you have a preferred arrangement, that's fine too.
Secondly, a few basic expectations (which I think everyone's familiar with anyway):
1. A quick-moving thread is more fun for everyone! This is especially important here because we're trying to get this whole arc done before February. Please post AT LEAST once per day, and the more the merrier. Take your time and roleplay your hearts out (especially for this arc), but do post regularly and keep the game moving. I'll make sure to do the same. If you know you'll be unable to post for a while, please let us all know here and consider giving march orders to the party (especially if we're in combat) and know that the game will likely still keep moving.
2. I've gotten pretty familiar with the PFS/Pathfinder rules over the years, but obviously I haven't dealt regularly with every class or situation. So if you are concerned that I've messed up somewhere in a way that really impacts gameplay (which is entirely possible), please feel free to raise the issue in the Discussion thread or privately and I'll do my best to correct the issue. It's all about learning!
3. Please pay attention to text formatting and the thread tabs. Use Gameplay for gameplay and Discussion for non-gameplay discussion. Use the [b] tag and quotes for in-character speech and the [ooc] tag for out-of-character commentary. Use spoiler tags when necessary and open spoilers
4. In combat, please add Round 1 or Round 2, etc., at the top of your post. That will make things much easier for me. Feel free to post if it is not yet your turn if (and only if) you are reasonably certain that your action will not impact others earlier in the initiative order.
5. Have fun and be the awesome Pathfinders you are!

Sounds good! That will make up for Gil only having a level 2 available.

Tier 3-4! Glad to have you with us. Also joining us soon will by a 3rd level bard and 3rd level druid. I might suggest the ranger or the monk, although we are going to Varisia so perhaps your bard is interested.

GMTrex |

We've got:
2 fighters
1 rogue
1 bard
1 druid
1 monk
No obvious healer, but the druid and bard can use wands of CLW if everyone's got one.

Mostly leveled up, I should just need my spells now.

Posting your move ahead of time and out of order is generally ok, especially if someone ahead of you is taking a while, and / or your action is unlikely to drastically affect what the people ahead of you are likely to do. Since Luc is flanking the southern baddy with Cott, while Thaddeus And Jasmine are closer to other baddies, it seems likely that Luc would attack that one and that his action wouldn't have an impact on Thaddeus or Jasmine's turns.
Everyone's gotta post when they have a moment, so reasonable allowances are expected. If something done out of turn is not kosher, Trex will say so.

Also, if any of you happen to use android based mobile devices, look into the Wayfinder app. It's quite useful for reading / posting in the threads when you're away from your PC.

Quick buttons for formatting, but it's android only.

It would be useful yes, but it's not available on iOS devices sadly. It's advantages are that it has handy buttons for quick text formating / rolling and that it makes navigating and posting to the threads more convenient on mobile than going to the website in a mobile browser.

If there's a way neither Khakil nor I have found it. We've both tried to figure it out.
When we make moves on mobile, we just describe our movement as exactly as possible and the avatars will be moved by whoever has convenient access to a PC or other device that you can manipulate the map on.

Hey folks! I've got three new games on my sign-up if any of you are interested. Your characters in this game are locked up for a while, but you all have others and this is a great group of players. =)
Not sure when these will run (dependent on player availability as well as my own) so please be sure to note character availability in the appropriate column.

I'm expecting that posting will be a little light tomorrow, but you all have been doing great so far and we're (remarkably) right on schedule even with the late start.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I'm having a great time with all of you. This scenario has a real nice blend of role play and combat!
So, for Sewer Dragons of Absalom, I can use one of the following:
Azdak, Human Sorcerer 5
Skybek, Dwarven Cleric 5
Yngvar, Human Ranger 3
Zhetanadu, Human Bard 3
Let me know what is needed most. My next convention is Total Confusion starting around February 19th. My hope is to be finished by that date.

In the interest of keeping things speedy, I'm going to ask everyone to post here in the Discussion thread straight away with:
PFS# (XXXXX-X)
Faction
Dayjob check if applicable

I'd probably say so, yeah. I'd be happy to look at any rules etc. that might say otherwise though.

GMTrex |

A friend of mine put together this list of advice a while back; check out #73. Interrogation is HARD.
Especially in the middle of a public market. :P

GMTrex |

Also, I apologize if it feels like I'm being obnoxious--this is really just my way of nudging you back towards the path of the scenario (this one isn't particularly sandboxy, sad to say).
That said, if the group would prefer to ignore the Feb 1 deadline, we can spend more time RPing and do whatever. Just let me know!

![]() |

The Feb 1 deadline is probably a good one. I am going to TotalCon at the end of February and I would love to have all of my characters freed up by then.

GMTrex |

Sounds like we'll keep the deadline then. Onward!

GMTrex |

Just an FYI, I will be hiking in the mountains for the next two days and out of contact. I'll be back Sunday evening or Monday morning!
Please feel free to continue discussing and decide your next course of action while I am away!
