Weird respawn places

Anyone else having weird respawn places? I respawned once at the top of a tree and my latest respawn is up in the clouds!

The cloud respawn is actually a not-uncommon reflection of server issues. Tree spawning has happened to me twice, and seemed (for me) to happen when the respawn point is in a deep cut or valley in the mountains. It also happens to the wildlife once-in-a-while, at which point it's handy to have a longbow for cleaning them up.

I had a plant node spawn on me by chance couple days ago. I was stuck in the stump. Fortunately harvesting the node was possible and the tree stump let me go when it despawned.

Sounds like a shambling mound, to me, though I'd have expected it to put up more of a fight.

I had a archer pop up from a tree node and started attacking me as I tried to gather it.. Sure did surprise me.
