So, plenty of classes can now become necromancers, including a few of the new ACG classes. So, what's everyone's favorite? I'm not talking about the best necromancer, necessarily. Just the one you like most.
I, personally, love the Reanimator. Something about the flavor and style of using serums to reanimate the dead is just cool.

I haven't read up on any of the options - I don't usually play casters.
but when I read the name "White Necromancer" (that's the name right?) gears started turning in my head - first though was: "yeah, that sound interesting."
The concept gives me ideas for characters and stories, is the class any good/fun?
Edit: after a quick search I find that the only class with that name is a 3pp one that seems a bit boring. Maybe I was thinking about the arcanist archetype White Mage? who knows ...
Personally I like the idea of a wizard with the necromancy/undead school, the image suits my tastes better than the cleric.
the gravewalker witch is also cool.
then again, in my games all the full spellcasters have to deal with ASF and none of them start with armor proficiency. so ymmw.

Gravewalker Witch always gets my vote, since with the Bone Whistle ability you get at first level, you can do undead controlling from the start. You also get Control Undead (the spell) and Animate Dead as level 2 and 3 spells respectively from your patron. Also, at 8th level you get the phenomenal ability to Magic Jar into your controlled undead. Good stuff.

In PF I got to second the gravewalker witch. Cool mechanics with nice flavor.
From 3.5 I always wanted to play a true necromancer from libris mortis. The problem is I am more often than not the GM so I don't get much chance to be a player. It is even more rare when I do play that the campaign and party lines up right to allow me to play a true necromancer.
Why the true necroromancer? I always thought it was hard to be an all encompassing necromancer until I saw this class. Also I seem to really like the idea of adept like classes for PCs. Little arcane and little divine is a-ok with me.

If we're talking about the typical "zombie master", then my favorite would probably be an evil cleric or a Bones oracle.
Necromancy in PF, however, has lots of nasty spells that don't involve raising the dead. A sorcerer focused on necromancy Save or Die spells would probably be even more awesome.
The wizard would be more powerful, most likely, but I just don't like prepared spellcasting. Clerics are fun and flavorful enough that I can make an exception.

Early entry Mystic Theurge is my friend for this. Go with Cleric+Empyreal Sorcerer with Words of Power, and you can raise normal undead without any cost! Later on, grab Agent of the Grave levels (if you can) to get an even higher bonus. Albeit you start animating undead a little later than your compatriots, but it's extremely effective at reanimating undead.

Why do I feel the need anthropomorphize animals, kill them, and raise them as undead just for the lulz?
Of course I could skip the kill step if I just use the Shed Flesh spell.

Boring!?!?! How DARE you sir! :)
Just kidding.
White Necromancer from Kobold Press has received 7 out of 7 5-Star reviews, including a 5-Star review from the great Endzeitgeist himself.
In addition to the class itself, there are also two archetypes: the Necrotic Healer, which gets greatly increased healing capabilities, and Grave-Bound, which gains an intelligent undead companion that scales up in power as the character does.
The White Necromancer is also one of the 7 new classes in the New Paths Compendium, also from Kobold Press :)
