Is your daughter thinking of a career in science or engineering?
Not particularly, (Especially with her current math grades!) :(
She just really enjoyed space camp. She even applied and got a scholarship one year. (Only reason we could afford to send her!) ;P
Actually, she thinks she wants to be a child therapist at a hospital.
And I can see it, she is certainly the little-kid magnet currently, They ALL love her! ;P

I may have mentioned the other day, but the boy is doing really well in math at school. This, coupled with his love of "science", gives us hope he will eventually go into a STEM field.
My brother and I were talking about this the other day (as we discussed the school performances of our oldest kids). STEM is, for the most part, where you go to make money. I'd guess economic fields can be the say way.

I'd like to think you're joking, but all things considered.....;)
A curriculum focusing on Science Technology Engineering Math. It's the kind of cool adjective someone came up with because calling it a geek/nerd education just gets you endless wedgies.
I thought so but I wasn't sure so I figured I would ask. No kids of my own means I don't see some of the stuff that you do. You can have one or three of my cats if you want them. J / K... sort of.

So, since getting Diablo II awhile back, I'm on my fifth character class.
The wizard very quickly developed a non-wizard look: chest armor, shoulder armor, gauntlets, armored boots....
Not so the Witch Doctor. Even his shoulder armor looks like little fetish constructs. I love some of his powers though - especially the frogs.

We went to The Lights Festival this afternoon/evening. Think the lantern lights from the Disney movie Tangled. Everyone got their own lantern(s) to light and let float off into the sky. It was pretty cool. And the weather was perfect.
There's a video on the book of the face. Pictures will probably follow tomorrow, also on the book of the face.

My 7-year old niece, and godchild, agreed to loan her 10-year old brother $3. However, she set conditions. He has to pay her back $1 per week for six weeks. He has to pay her back by a certain time each week, and if he's late, a fee is added on (20 cents, I think). She had her dad, my brother, draw up the agreement in writing, with signatures by both parties and a witness (mom).
She tried to do this once before, but her parents said no. This time, they figured they let it go and see what happens.
That kid is going far.
