PaizoCon 2014 jealousy and planning for 2015

So, I made the mistake of looking at the schedule for this weekend's PaizoCon and I'm now super jealous of all you guys that get to be there! It looks like a serious blast.

That being said, I definitely want to come out there next year, so I'm going to start planning super early to make sure I can do so.

As a freelancer, is there any chance I could get on one of the panels? If I was to be put on one (*crosses fingers*) what does Paizo provide? Hotel room cost? Travel cost?

Paizo does have a Guest of Honor each year, that I imagine is treated to much of what you mentioned. I haven't heard of any other benefits for panelist guests, but you can contact Vic Wertz for more information.

I know other freelancers have run fundraisers (for themselves and others) in order to get to PaizoCon.

Yeah I think I'm going to have to find a way to make it there. Financially I can pay for the trip but it would be much easier to convince my wife to let me do so if some of it was being paid for, or if Paizo was actually ASKING me to be there. LOL

There are going to be a lot of freelancers at the show; they pay their own way.

We only cover benefits for specially invited guests, of which there are usually very few.

Isn't there already an email that goes out each year that says PaizoCon tickets are going on sale on such and such a date, and effectively says they're really like for us all to come to PaizoCon?
