I'm stuck in another airport, so I feel your pain! a problem shared is a problem halved, right?
Cheers!

Everyone please take some time at the con to thank Mark Stratton.
He did a great job organizing and setting this up! He is likely a little tired and worn-out, Gen-Con isn’t even officially started yet. Give him your thanks in what-ever form, it may help recharge his batteries.

I thought I post some feedback:
Was pretty nervous to be early enough. Shouldn't have worried as we arrived as one of the first around 7:15. Actually the wait until 8:00 to open up was great. You seldom have time to chat and that gave a great opportunity to chat with people also waiting.
I was GMing Lost at Bitter End. Thanks a lot to the group playing - I had lots of fun. We had Kyle Baird and Siggevert as experienced GMs and a father/son duo who stepped in to fill some free places.
No spellcasters at all - not counting the paladin. A grapple and a trip specialist - no true high damage dealer.
It was a lot of fun to gave Garble at the table. The only problem seemed to be - whenever he pinned someone evil - the paladin refused to hit him. Yes - we all still saw him roll the dice - but that was just show. It actually became a running gag.
Some other interesting tidbits? Try as GM to ask a group of tier 7+ in the middle of the desert - who of you is actually prepared and has any rations with you. No - I didn't do a TPK because of starvation - but you are allowed to ask - aren't you? Not that the VC told them ahead - there is nowhere to buy anything ...
What made it great (at least to me) where the moments of laughter around the table. Yes - my bonedevil was really pathetic. A claw, claw, sting with 1, 1, 3 somehow doesn't inspire respect at the table - especially if you try to hit a goblin.
Sad that I left without saying an extra good-bye to Kyle. But in UK speak they would say I made a Dave. Seems I got the time I was supposed to stop wrong and thought I was still 5 min early. Combine this with my son being first to finish and he being bored and I just had to go.
Hoping to see as many of you as possible again over the next few days.

A special thanks to the many GMs who gave up part or all of their Wednesday to help this event go off! Two international GMs, a couple of GMs who ran all three slots, and some who squeezed in running a game between other events. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
A big thanks to all of the players who took in some free PFS play! I appreciate your patience as we had to make some schedule adjustments, and the physical relocation of a table to another area.
And, though he won't see it here, a big thanks to Dave at Scotty's for giving us a place (and lots of goodies!) to make this happen!
I organized the event, but you all made it successful!
Thanks so much, everyone!
Until next year!

Mark, I wanted to thank you again for providing an environment for an excellent start to GenCon!
And Richard, thank you as well for an exceptional job running in such tight quarters and with so much distracting noise.
Definitely something I will build my schedule around next year, even if I only got to play one slot.

Hi, all!
Just an update - all the games for Scotty's have been reported. If you find an error, please let me know. Some PFS numbers were hard to read, some didn't put a character number, some GMs didn't report prestige earned, etc.
Thanks again for making the day successful!
Until next year (which, is only about 49 weeks away, give or take!)
Mark
