The book suggests a 25 point build. As does McBride. So I would like to do that. Also I want everyone to take two extra skill points per level. I highly recommend disguise be one of those skills. And finally just because of changes I have made to the path I would like everyone to take nemesis and make a rival / foe.... evil is preferred but not required. Short paragraph or two as to why you hate each other. And I will do the rest.

Elaine Ardenta |

Sweeeet. Once I add the nemesis I'm good to go.
For party reference:
My character has changed in a few ways.
My crunch is identical except I am now dhampir, I am now ninja, I took a trait that allows me to disarm even magical traps rather than reactionary, and the added ability points and skills. The character is still much the same as before.
Background and personality are the same. Name is changed.
Headed down the path to assassin!

QuidEst |

While the magical trap thing is useful, you should ask permission when using campaign traits. They're generally higher power (like, say, giving a class feature), and typically not allowed. If the GM is okay with it, then I'm all for it.
Speaking of which, I got permission to use a regional trait for +1 to stealth, stealth as a class skill. Is that still okay?
I'll go work on those changes!

Visirik Shadokage |

Ah hills fighter yes you may use it. And remember it gives +2 in rough terrain.
Also we will be moving out of the realms. I love them but I no longer have the books for them and refuse to have anything to do with the post spell plague realms.
And if you could do your characters as a stat block like the Vis here I would appreciate it.
And to get your hp and everything to show as a tag line type it in under class.....

AngryCyc, our monk: "Umm no. I don't want to play on a different board, I wanted to play on this board."
I would advocate leaving the slot empty if four players can run this effectively. If not, I would rather have encounters slightly easier than have as much going on as goes on in a 5 or 6 player pbp party. Just my two cents. I'll go with your call, either way.
Grytorm, our oracle: He hasn't checked in. Prior to my sharing that we were changing to Paizo he had said he would be interested in joining. I do not know how he feels about the change of venue but I expect him to join us. He has the link and will likely be checking in shortly.
Regarding my character: I'm sticking with the dhampir ninja. Fingers crossed that I can find a wakizashi in short order. My character is fully updated to your standards and I'll add the statblock here when I'm done with my roll20 party tonight.
The nemesis block on my sheet is written like crap, though. Please avoid it until tomorrow. I wrote it on mobile and will update it tonight.
Edit: Grytorm received the same invite PM as everyone else. He has posted on Giantitp three or four times since then, three of them after over eight hours since I sent it and over a three hour spread. Whether or not he is still interested I can't say.

Havelock is a LG antipali.
Crash course for all ye Paizo N00bs:
1) Usernames. (This only applies to QuidEst and LordHavelock)
-Since you have under 10 posts you have the ability to change your usernames. As these were your usernames over at GiantITP, I imagine you're happy with them but it's important to know.
-This board allows you to post under different "Usernames" or "Aliases."
Look below your submission box where you type messages. There are two important parts: "Post As" and "How to format your text"
Sidetrack for a moment:
Click "How to format your text," it won't take you to another page. It's just a spoiler. There. Now you know how to format stuff here.
It's convention on this board to bold one's spoken text. Color is not available.
Back to aliases. First, to use one you need one. Follow me by opening another tab while logged in that leads to paizo.com
At the top, go to "My Account."
Top left: Personal Settings.
Below: Messageboard Settings. This is where you choose your username and avatar.
Below: Messageboard Aliases. This is where you will create your alias, your character.
Once your alias is created, you will find them in your drop-down "Post As" options when you post on the boards. This takes some getting used to. If you intend on being on these boards only for this campaign I recommend setting your alias as your default because you can only edit your posts for one hour on paizo.com. You can edit posts with dice but I believe a message pops up in your post if you try to edit the dice itself. I have never tried and don't recommend it. A lot of the time I forget to change my alias. It's awkward.
If you look at all of my posts, click my name. You will see it states I am an alias of Ellal. All aliases can be easily tracked this way. What are not present at the time of this post are my stats but they will be up shortly.
I hope this helps everyone. Welcome to Paizo!
Edit: Ironically enough, I forgot to post this with the Elaine alias initially.

I should hope so. Havelock rises as soon as the game starts to to alignment conflicts. Quick give him someone to murder lol.
Also thanks for making the primer for them. I didnt even think of it. And I apologize for my lack of forethought there. But I am working on this game to make it above and beyond what is written. I probably won't be ready to start till Monday or Tuesday as work tends to eat my life on the weekends and I need to give our new recruit time to whip up a character.
I have also arranged for a bit of help.... in the form of a assistant dm. Not sure if he will take the offer but he will be playing a assistant type character to help the party along and will be able to make combat rolls and such for monsters should I be bogged down in real life.

Cool! Very much appreciated.
I've been toying around with some cool mechanical stuff for Lauren's rival. Are you okay with rough first level outline?
I love the idea of Lauren having a rival who represents the more chaotic aspects of the magic she studies, somebody who's begun to succumb to the madness of the dark reaches of the void. A female Fetchling Wrecker-Cursed Oracle of the Dark Tapestry. (Dual Cursed with non-progressing Tongues curse using Aklo also works, but it loses out on some really useful class skills.) Fetchling gets Memory Lapse as an SLA, which makes Brain Drain actually useful. Surprise round, Brain Drain to read somebody's mind and damage them. If she wins initiative, Memory Lapse makes them forget it ever happened. (Dual Cursed would help the latter stick.) That leaves a couple rounds to sort through the victim's knowledge for any useful information.
Planar Savant would be a great trait, along with one of the initiative traits so she can make sure Memory Lapse erases her attack.
(You can ignore this, of course. Void-Touched Sorcerer or certain Cleric domains do very similar concepts just as well.)

Elaine Ardenta |

Also thanks for making the primer for them.
No problemo, padre.
he will be playing a assistant type character to help the party along
I like the idea of a co-gm who pops in to run things here and there. It takes burden off you and helps prevent against GM burnout!
I'd be concerned, however, about somebody helping us along. I worry it would be as though we were playing a video game, got lost, were enjoying outselves (if getting a little frustrated) and, unbidden*, being provided an arrow to the exit.
*this is key.
Sometimes, sure, I'd say "Phew. Saved some time there." I wouldn't want it every time, though. Sometimes the struggle is part of the fun, even if it leads to death.
Despite this complaint, I'm not completely against certain aspects of video games. If we got a TPK I wouldn't say no to picking back up where we left off with new characters, for instance, just to see where the story leads.
Neither are something I feel strongly about but I am concerned enough to wonder what your thoughts are.
… you mean LE antipaladin, I presume?
I think it was opposite day when I said that. I know there are multiple faults with that statement. LALALALA I can't hear you.
Yes. LE.
I love the idea of Lauren having a rival
I love the rival thought, too, except the guy I'm writing in is a completely insane bastard who may very well be capable of getting the job done unless these rivals are equivalent to my pokemon rival in any given game. Eat guano, Gary.
It's kind of funny. That barbarian I wrote up was the evil rival of a good character I'd already made. He was arrested for murdering the guy. I may have needed to revise that back story to include a different victim haha

Elaine Ardenta |

I think I'm confused. I've never had a GM use sending spells with any regularity to help us somehow so I don't know what he would be replacing?
Update: I just spent over an hour redoing my background. My account timed out. It deleted everything.
Here's the deal for the short term (I won't have time to rewrite for a day or two or three): My background is mostly accurate on myth-weavers.
Nemesis: Chauncey (I picked a name I hated haha) Greystone. He's a dwarf that was Elaine's senior in the guild and the star pupil before Elaine came along. He didn't like losing the attentions he had received prior to her arrival. Multiple assassinations between the two. He was a straight rogue while she had different training and went ninja. Both tracks were available. He graduated from training a decade prior to her but couldn't get to her in the guild (Although he tried) so he turned his attentions to veritably witch-hunting Dhampirs. He's killing all of them he can find, surrounding himself with cohorts of often low intelligence or wisdom, high creativity (when it comes to torture and capture), and by and large rough upbringings.
In short: He's a lvl 1 rogue but he's going to become a rogue/inquisitor. The dwarf has made elimination of undead his purpose but truthfully he's just an insecure brat who wants to kill somebody who was better than him and got the only parent-figures he ever knew from splashing him with adoration. The undead (or undeadkin, esp) are just an outlet.

LordHavelock |

Whew, lots going on in this thread since I last checked, but I think I'm up to keeping up with both threads here and on GITP. I'll be editing my sheet to include the extra skill points and a 25pt buy, then I will begin work on a nemesis: I'm thinking a Neutral Evil Ranger or Cavalier who is sort of a complacent bandit leader and outlaw, content to pillage and rob without attracting too much attention and bringing down the full wrath of the law.
Alternatively, a scholarly sort of good cleric or an inquisitor might be a good fit.
Oh, question as to the pantheon, as IRollTwenties originally had this set in Faerun. Will we continue using that as a base setting or switch to Golarion (given our new venue it only seems appropriate haha).
Also, is there a way I can subscribe to this thread?

Lauren Tacita |

Hmm. It's not letting me post.

Unfortunately, I can't ignore it. The post won't go through. I'm going to try posting again here to see if that works.
EDIT: I was able to post a bold, italicized dot. So there we go.

Lauren Tacita |

… aww, crud.
I just realized something. I was looking through posts of yours that people had favorited, and I see a hilariously awesome one about shapeshifting into an eldritch abomination that happens to be a magical beast.
A certain rival has access to a Greater Polymorph supernatural ability ignoring material components at fifteenth level and lots of bonuses on Knowledge(Planes). It also happens to be the level at which she causes weapons striking her to crumble into dust.
I do have to admit that it sounds awesome.
