"Paizonians" seems to be the accepted term (1,987 messageboard uses, as compared to 106 for "Paizons" and 14 for "Paizanos").

I've always been partial to "Paizanos", if only because I'm hooked on the golems.

Also sounds like a Mafia family... I like it :D

Hothead Paizons?
(If anyone gets that, I love you.)
In seriousness, I've always heard "Paizonians" in reference to the community itself.
I think the Paizo staff we generally refer to as "golems," "ninjas," "stampede of dinosaurs," "the Powers that Be," "those jerks who HATE us" (trolls only), or sometimes "Paizo staff."

We are all golems ... and Paizo is our preciousssesssssss.
Except we're not green and buggly eyed ... or I hope we're not.
Sorry to be pedantic, but "golems," not "Gollum"s. :)
The former is a magical construct, such as the purple shield guardian looking symbol on all of Paizo's products, which is what Tirisfal was referring to.
We may all certainly behave like Gollum with the Ring as it relates to our Paizo books. :)

It is not a shield guardian. It is a pie golem. We've been through this, DQ.
I said shield-guardian LOOKING. (Because of the power gem in its chest. To direct zyl... the other poster... to what a "golem" looks like.)
Yes, it also looks like a pi. And I would fully believe it is made of pie.
But I've never actually been in any discussions about the Paizo guardian, so I haven't "been through" anything to do with it.

Playing on homonyms, DQ, playing on homonyms. Yes, I realize the character from Tolkein's works is Gollum ... but the logo for Paizo is a Golem ... and since the are both pronounced the same way, I thought to have a little fun with it. Looks like I failed. :(
EDIT: I have to admit though, calling out my play on words immediately after your own (the Hothead Paisan reference), had me chuckle a little bit at the conflicting stance. ;)

Makes sense ... kinda like paladin being properly pronounced as either pal-ah-din or pa-lay-din.
Either way, no harm, no foul.
Huh. So I'm "wrong" if I say pah-lad-in. Who knew.

I'm voting for it too and totally not because it induces Super Mario Super Show flashbacks.

Could be a proper pronunciation as well (I am not a walking dictionary, so there could be more than two accepted pronunciations ... though I am fairly certain play-din is right out).
The two examples I listed were discovered by a friend and I when I was twelve. We argued about how to pronounce paladin. Turns out we were both right. ;)
