I took a arrow to the knee .. ok not really
After a million and 2 paladin falls threads I decided to help people out these are just somethings I've seen a paladin fall for:
Someone sneezed and he didn't say 'deity' bless you
Mind control
Forgot to clean up his room before adventuring
And bard with a whip trip...
Stairs
And flat surfaces
If anyone else has anything that has made a paladib fall comment below

When I was younger and more immature, my Paladin had a habit of hitting on female NPCs.
That is, until one day when he encountered a lady of the evening in a plague-infested city. Out of character, I stated "Well, my character has the gold to spare, and he is immune to disease."
He lost his powers. And contracted the disease.
(Got an atonement afterwards, and I think a Remove Disease spell, but it was still pretty funny. Oh, the memories of Living Greyhawk; I even think that was a Jason Bulmahn adventure)

Blackbloodtroll actually got it right, more or less. If you're legitimately complaining about paladins falling, odds are you're probably engaging in badwrongfun. But hey, go nuts.

Uh... Why?

I intentionally had a paladin fall once. The DM had set up a let the villain escape or let the hostage die situation. I killed the hostage, and then killed the bad guy. I rped that I felt the hostage was doomed no mater what and a quick death was a mercy. I was only second level, so I just let ex paladin levels sit there, moved to a LN Judge Dredd outlook on life and leveled up as a sorcerer into dragon disciple.

THAT is falling with style. I approve wholeheartedly.

One of my favorite characters to game with was a paladin named Androval (Fighter Paladin) arranged his own fall.
He had the whole party snowed. Eventually made a pact with a demon, acquired some fiendish grafts. Kept adventuring with the party, thanks to an amulet of undetectable alignment and a hat of disguise.
His sister was another paladin (Cleric Paladin) who had no idea, or if she did know, refused to believe it.
Eventually they faced off in a titanic clash. There was a gate that was going to let a Demon Prince/Archdevil into the world, and she was going to close it. (Needed to channel a bunch of positive energy into the gate to close it, and would have taken both of them to do it.) "I can't let you do that, Torea. I have a bargain to uphold."
It nearly shattered her spirit right then and there, and if she had fallen (Androval's goal) it would have meant the end of the heroes, and ushering in an evil campaign.
As it stood, the archfiend still manifested into the world, and in the ensuing chaos, he fled, and she was forced to retreat.
(Eventually their conflict was resolved, the archfiend banished, and remains one of my favorite campaigns.)
Very Respectfully,

There sure are an awful lot of paladin threads on this subforum nowadays, aren't there?...
That time of the month.
Next up is rogues or monks.
Paladins always comes up after fighter thread.
Fighter threads comes up after the monk and rogue threads.
and so on and so on.
Sometimes the devs will do something that breaks up the cycle, but eventually everything will settle and the next round will begin.
It is known.

Awhile ago on GitP there was this long-running forum joke that each day of the weak had a specific argument associated with it.
Initially, it was really just one day: Monday=Monkday. But eventually it got fleshed out to other days (Tuesnamerday, Sat-tier-day, etc).
Of course, people who started monk threads normally didn't pay attention to the day, leading to accusations of "Monkday came early!"
But here, there's also the More Playable Races vs Fewer Playable Races threads...
and the Real Roleplayers vs Fake Roleplayers in which both sides claim to be the Real Roleplayers...

How is it dishonest if I admit it?

2 paladins in my game fell for killing my innocent, unarmed, mostly helpless rogue after she surrendered and was handcuffed... The only reason I can think of for them to kill my character was when she confiscated the alchemist's fire after one of them drank it. They were trying to enter the Blackguard prestige class, apparently.

Actually, since no one will stop feeding the trolls that come here as first time posters and start a thread about paladins and goblin babies, this is what we should do- post silly stuff. make it clear we know what he is doing and derail the endless & ridiculous debate about morality into sillyness...without getting our hands slapped for out & out calling the OP a troll. The boards have been infested by "pala-trolls" recently. Since some people can't resist feeding them, we need to change the diet to spun sugar instead of meat.
Who is with me? Let's get silly!

In this thread, yes.

Saw a Paladin summon an Ice Devil in the middle of a crowd of townspeople. We referred to him as an ex-paladin for the rest of that adventure.
Hmm. Character idea: Paladin (or cleric, or inquisitor) that summons demons or other such creatures in an attempt to convert them to the side of light.
