After a successful one off last week, PFS was a featured event at the Gulf Roleplaying Community mini-con in Dubai today. I was there with both of my VCs and we had a great day. All ten of the reserved PFS numbers were handed out and all but two of those new society members were able to play the it first Society game. This is from an estimated 50-60 total players who attended the Con.
4 new characters were created in the morning session and 6 pre-gens were played at two tables in the afternoon. Tarek Altarack ran In Service to Lore and I ran The Confirmation as the two introductory scenarios. There was a lot of positive feedback and it looks like we will have monthly regular games in addition to other home games and ad hoc games as PFS starts becoming a part of the local vocabulary.
I look forward to these individuals with the temporary PFS cards becoming a part of our community. Please help me welcome them over the next few days as they find their way here. Also, thanks for the continued support the VLs and I have received as we continue to learn and grow.
