Apologies for any repeats from me. I have not taken the time to read the whole thread!

1: "Don't ask me. I mostly just hurt people!"

2: "Happy Halloween ladies! Nuns. No sense of humor."

3: "I guess she don't like the cornbread neither."

Correct for Bill Dunn and Charles Scholz.

I don't know what film feytharn is quoting...

If nobody gets the first one, I'll drop another line later

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Well, it's been referenced already, but since there have been multiple Jaws, Star Wars, and The Crow quotes amidst others, I don't feel bad...

"It certainly illustrates the versatility of the word."

Liberty's Edge

"I did not hit her, it's not true, it's bullsh*t, I did not hit her...oh hi Mark."

Itchy wrote:

Itchy, I want to say this is Jayne in Serenity, but that could be just because I want it to be.

Here's one:

F: Nobody said love's perfect.

A: Oh, F, I don't expect it to be perfect, but for G--'s sake, it's usually human!

Fallen_Mage wrote:

Man 1: Sean ********, I'll be...... What have they been feeding you in america?

Man 2: Steel, Michaleen, and fires so hot that a man forgets his fear of hell.

It's been a really long time since I've seen this movie, so it may not be 100% accurate.

Oh... and I'm not sure if this one was answered already.

The Quiet Man. Man 1 is Sean Thornton played by John Wayne.

No I don't believe it was. And you are correct Te'Shen.

I liked The Quiet Man, both the movie and the short story. Though, I prefer the movie.

It's not Jayne. Here's another one from the same movie, same character:

J: What's the big deal man? F----n' waste of ammo.
C: Let's go.
J: Must be a chick thing.

That sounds really familiar, but I can't place it.

I believe that's from The Crow.

Here's another film:

That's Ron Pearlman's character from Alien Resurrection.

"You cannot stand between me and my destiny."

"But I will. I told it's always been between us."

"I ache to smash you, out of exsistance. To drive your face out of my memory forever."

"Enough talk."

"Yes! Let this be our final battle."

Nope. Not where I lifted it. I apologize if I was unclear. I just meant since some movies have been used more than once that reusing a movie seems fair game. And after checking, I will amend the quote (Sorry) and give another from the same.

"Well, it certainly illustrates the diversity of the word."

Yes! It comes from near the Climax of the movie, where we learn Errol Flynn was a Nazi the whole time! :D

(No, I'm not Black Dougal, but I remember that moment. So cheesy-awesome!)

DR J: "Some unknown force was redirecting the laser beam from its original target, so that it hit your planet instead. "

HtD: "Hit my planet? How about 'hit my living room'? Talk about an invasion of privacy! "

H*****: Who in their right mind, in a choice between pancakes and living, chooses pancakes?
J****: H*****, if you'd pause to think, I believe you'd realize that that answer is inextricably contingent upon the type of life being led and, of course, the quality of the pancakes.

Question: are these three different movie quotes?

If so, the first one is from the Shawshank Redemption, at the end, when Red was elderly and on review for his parole. If not... I've no idea.

yeah three different films
and quite right

The Golden Child

An incredibly boring movie punctuated by three or four of the funniest jokes/vignettes I've ever seen.

So someone else can choose to get it.:

The second one is Kelley's Heroes. Said by Donald Sutherland's character Oddball. Like this quote: "There you go again, out with them negative waves. Why can't you say something righteous, and hopeful for a change?"

"Look, I'm not smart like my dad."

"Very true. But there's two kinds of smarts. There's book smart, which waved bye-bye to you a long time ago, and there's street smart, the ability to read people. And that's something you and your father have in common."

C: I called you a clumsy oaf. You drive like a monkey in heat.
