Princess E :"DS? Is that your first name or your last name?"

Is that... is... uh...

There was a fake princess at one point and everything, I think.

Bother it all, I can almost remember seeing this on the tv.

Arg!

It is obscure ..I saw it once in 1980's never on TV since..

and they actually made 3 of them. The quote is from

Deathstalker 2

I am surprised I never made a rogue character with that name.

Absolutely Correct!

There was a wave of sword/sorcery flicks in nthe early 1980's after conan the barbarian came out, sadly most were total crap (Ator the invincible, or deathsalker..).

The Sword and Socerer rose above the muck, with good proudction values and reasonable acting.

Here is another one in the early 80's Sword & Sorcery genr:.

V: It's a shield. I made it. Might keep the fire off of you, might not. You know, you're an idiot. You're going to die tonight. You'll be ripped, limb from limb. This is the last time I'll ever speak to you!

Dragonslayer?

Yup. One of my favorite films to actually have a dragon in it.

Sadly, the woman who delivers that line, Caitlyn Clarke, died of cancer some years ago.

Ok... uhhmmm... RED maybe?

No. The scene like that has two guys. I'll keep thinking.

I'm tempted to quote this to those few of my friends who get a little too carried away at the RenFair. Nothing against RenFair, I just like my modern conveniences.

"holy food has a flavor that some find... not to their liking"

I remember dragonslayer a great movie in fact there was a board game of it.
We had it as kids great fun if i recall correctly it was because of that game that a few weeks later my dad went out and brought Basic D&D .
And 34 years later im still playing

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. DAMMIT! I should have been paying closer attention. I missed it both times its been in the thread. GOD I love that movie.

My last one was from Spirited Away.

How about some car trip quotes (which Ive used on various car trips myself):

1 Somebody help me, I'm being spontaneous!

2 Kids...Big Ben...Parliament...I CAN NOT GET LEFT! I dont know...

3 Right here. The A/C button. I put it on full blast about an hour ago and, if anything, the car's getting colder.

That makes sense. R(etired) E(xtremely) D(angerous) I and II would have a bit of same setups where younger adversaries would underestimate older persons. It's pretty much the main running gag. I've never read the comics, but I have seen both movies. It's just that I've seen the first a couple of times while the second only once.

you are right. It is wrong.

Are you talking about the series (and thus hating Joss Whedon hate) or the original film? :D

(Obviously my answer was wrong, as someone else had gotten it before me. It's been a regretfully long time since I watched the film. I now recall more closely how that scene goes.)

it goes more like wrote:

*Buffy holds forth a cross*
Vampire: You think you can harm me with your pathetic faith?
*Smirking, he places a hand on the cross, which bursts into flame*
Buffy: No - with my keen fashion sense!
*Sprays hairspray, causing a fireball to light up into his face*

So they're not the same at all. Similar concept about weak faith, or whatever. :P

(I do need to see that film again.)
