Elaina Newberry |

Elaina is 15-ish feet up. Does she anything of note over the wall?

Lord Christian D'Elagante |

I am playing this as person attending to a wedding is not armed nor armored...this would be bad form in my own opinion.
No able to see the final condition of the fallen women, Christian continues to direct orders.
Someone get to that woman. Tend to her if you can. Keep destroying those bees. We need to get out of this trap so we can see what the hell we are dealing with.
Move through the wall of thorns towards the rose garden
I saw someone near the rose garden.

Cenna explodes a second fireball over the crowd's head, finishing off the swarm of bees.
Aldrea fires blind in the general direction Christian had indicated but their musketball doesn't do any appreciable damage to the wall of tough thorns surrounding the party.
Christian Str check to move through Wall: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Christian attempts to force his way through the wall but isn't able to make any headway. He finds the thorns very sharp, though, and is pierced in several places.
Elaina and Zarrin are up.
Map is updated. Green ring is a Wall of Thorns. Orange area is difficult terrain due to panicking townsfolk.
Christian takes 15 hp dmg from attempting to move through the Wall.

With that Perception check, Elaina won't see anything until the spriggans start moving toward the group.

Elaina Newberry |

"Don't try moving through the bush, lovely people! Just stay put! Lord D'Elagante will see to this!"
Elaina doesn't have much she can do if she can't see anything else :P So she'll pass her turn.

Elaina Newberry |

Elaina isn't sure what's going on, but she daintly steps through the air after lord D'Elagante and places a hand on his shoulder, filling him with the warmth and courage of Sarenrae.
Actually Elaina may as well do something even if she's not sure what's going on. She'll run after Christian and cast Heroism on him.

The spriggans rush toward the party trapped inside the wall of thorns. Though small, they are fast, and they move through the thorns as if it were mist.

Elaina Newberry |

Elaina steps up and over the crowd, dancing delicately along in the air just over everyone's heads. She alights betwixt the angry plant people and the innocent wedding attendees and casts a protective spell upon those she can.
Elaina will cast Communal Protection From Evil on everyone she can.

Cenna.Proviso |

Cenna raises her eyebrows and casts a spell weaving her hands into shape of a ball, webbing appears from nowhere and she throws it at the middle foe yellow. "Hopefully that one stays put!"
Web Bolt - Reflex save DC 15 or be affected as if by a web spell occupying only the creatures space.
Anyone in the effect’s area when the spell is cast must make a Reflex save. If this save succeeds, the creature is inside the web but is otherwise unaffected. If the save fails, the creature gains the grappled condition, but can break free by making a combat maneuver check or Escape Artist check as a standard action against the DC of this spell. The entire area of the web is considered difficult terrain. Anyone moving through the webs must make a combat maneuver check or Escape Artist check as part of their move action, with a DC equal to the spell’s DC. Creatures that fail lose their movement and become grappled in the first square of webbing that they enter.
If you have at least 5 feet of web between you and an opponent, it provides cover. If you have at least 20 feet of web between you, it provides total cover.
The strands of a web spell are flammable. A flaming weapon can slash them away as easily as a hand brushes away cobwebs. Any fire can set the webs alight and burn away one 5-foot square in 1 round. All creatures within flaming webs take 2d4 points of fire damage from the flames.

Lord Christian D'Elagante |

Christian grimaces in pain as the thorns rebuke his advance.
Even if I was armored...I doubt I would have gotten through untouched.
The lord shifts his weight and addresses his stance to keep the the others behind him.
This will hurt. Who the f$~$ attacks a wedding.
He calls out a challenge to the creatures coming forth. Granting his companions an advantage in defeating them. Issue challenge to the blue creature. Everyone will get a +2 to attack it.
He points his finger at the one creature, smiling at it like he is entertained with it.
Come here ugly. Let us see what you can do.
As the words come out, he turns his body sideways trying to create a smaller target
Total defense for an AC of 19, prepared to use dodging panache if I get hit.

The townsfolk panic again and start pushing and shoving to get away from spriggans, just as they were starting to calm down after Cenna destroyed the bee swarms.
Yellow Ref, DC 15: 1d20 ⇒ 17
The deformed little gnome is shockingly quick and easily jumps out of the way of Cenna's webs.
As he'd hoped, the trio of spriggans all go for Christian. Two of the little monsters move to flank him while one swells up impossibly until his head overtops the wall of thorns.

karlprosek |

Elaina chops into one of the little ones with gusto, her newfound magical speed allowing her to connect with the small target.
Zarrin misses his target twice but lands a serious hit over Elaina's shoulder on her target.
Aldrea fires at the same target, her musket thundering out a storm of gunsmoke. She takes it down with her second shot and magically reloads and fires at the giant spriggan with her third.

Lord Christian D'Elagante |

Christian continues to move his body around in order to make himself a harder target to hit.
How can one so tall be that ugly.
Continue to total defense and prepare to use dodging panache if I get hit.
Christian starts to look around for a way to see through this wall of thorns.
These are just pawns. Find Tenzekil, that f$$%er is responsible for all this. If anyone can get this shrub of jaggers gone...that would be great.
