A quantitative feedback vote for Paizo - Which is needed more...Warpriest or Priest?

Advanced Class Guide Playtest General Discussion

There's been some great discussion in the other thread but now its time from some proper quantitative feedback for Paizo...

Simple... cast your vote... no comments.... Warpriest or Priest

I haven't give 'Both' as an option because I think Paizo need to see decision making and not fence sitting. ;)

That ship sailed a long time ago, friend.

Yes of course but it provides a customer message for Paizo when they consider future classes... and if you're not here to vote then dont post.

This should be moved from the playtest forum to general. As Cheapy said they are not changing the class

Why not both? You like one over the other, don't play the other. There's exactly zero reason not to print both.

Also, I'm fairly sure a vote like this would attract people who want the priest more since warpriest is already happening. Biased sample and all that.

Advocating for a Priest class in a future release is one thing, coming into the play test and saying it should be Priest instead of Warpriest is another. I can totally get behind a Priest class, but this is not the proper forum or way to go about promoting it.

Silver Crusade

Would like to see a Priest class, but I don't think its going to happen in this book. Unfortunately, Paizo has too much on their plate with this book to work on an eleventh new base class. Wonder if it could be done as a cleric archetype?

Has the other non-monster book been announced for next year? I would really like to see a priest class and maybe it could go in the other book for next years line-up

I doubt it's going to be another book with a base class in it, considering that's what the primary focus of the ACG is.

Liberty's Edge

I would absolutely love a divine 1/2 bab, d6, armorless class. I trust Paizo to find a way to make it work despite divine spells generally being worse than arcane spells in the long run.

Lantern Lodge

As painful as it is for me to post this, let me be yet another voice of reason added to the mixture by not only saying, "Let the thread die," but also adding that personal attacks from any party are unwanted and uncalled for. Paizo's made it clear a hundred times over in similar threads. No name-calling derisive behaviors, derogatory insults, or ultimately anything else even vaguely similar needs to be posted. The OP has been made aware of his posting in the wrong board. In addition, we've all been made aware of where he stands on the matter. If any of this childish nonsense continues, please do the right thing and flag it before simply moving on.

Thank you.

Liberty's Edge

I think what was proposed in the shaman thread with a d6 class that can cast both Druid and Cleric spells was quite interesting and would fit the bill mechanically, although not thematically.

But I think the cleric already fits that bill thematically.

Imagine an arcanist style class that can cast from either spell list as a d6 with Oracle progression...
