Ok, folks, because of some real life issues, I am not capable of running a Skull & Shackles game that I have begun. For those interested in taking up this role, here is....
So read, and those interested, post here with why you want it, your experience with the AP, with Pathfinder APs, Pathfinder, & just gaming in general.
The current gaming group will decide who leads them in this glorious adventure. And many thanks in advance to whoever takes it over.

You´re fairly at the beginning right?
I´m currently kind of busy too and already running this, which comes kind of short also.
Eventually in february i will have more time and could take over.
If you care to wait that long and don´t find someone else before^^
Probably i would do some changes then though, to ease game play and provide a hopefully better experience. It would be the third time i´m running it then and there were some criticism from players to stuff as written, which i understand fairly well.

Okay. I'm in.
A few caveats:
1. This will be my first time trying to GM a PbP game (although I've been a GM for a little over a decade now), so it will be a learning experience for me. Please bear with me.
2. I will always try to post at least once a day, if not more than once. If I have any major breaks in posting, I will let you all know.
3. I'm not yet sure how I will do combat. Roll20 seems like a good option, but if anybody has a better idea, I'm all ears.
2. The vision I've had for my pirate game could be a major departure from Skull & Shackles. I like some of the material, but I find a few of the books (most notably 3 and 4) to be pretty weak and not particularly "piratey". So I'd be looking to take the campaign off the rails so to speak. Once we get past the second book, it will likely be a smattering of S&S, Razor Coast, Freeport, and other high seas adventures. It will be open world and, I hope, awesome. If some of the players are 100% sold on the Adventure Path, then we might have some problems.
If that seems reasonable, then let's do this.

As for combat, the boards here have a mechanism. See the spoiler box labeled "How to format your text", below. There is a built in dice rolling format. You can also link maps.
If you are set on roll20, then it's doable. It can get a little cumbersome in practice.
As for running off the rails, that's fine. I really enjoyed our free form role playing prequel, so it's the players not the plot as far as I am concerned.
Thanks for stepping up! :)
