I say 'au revoir' because I definitely will be seeing PFS again, but not in this current hemisphere.
I will be moving to Dunedin, New Zealand at the end of this month. I'm shipping all of my PF books ahead of me, and I already have made contact with gamers in that city in order to set up some PFS events on the South Island. I look forward to working with the VOs already in that area to try and grow another Pathfinder lodge.
I leave the APL (Asheville Pathfinder Lodge) in the firm and capable hands of its new VC, James Becker (aka Luthril Ironsoul), a man of characters and even more talent. Along with our has-already-been-a-VL-but-now-actually-gets-the-title web guru, Dain Nielsen (aka zylphryx), I'm excited for the future of 2012's fastest-growing PFS Lodge.
If any or all of you are ever in the Asheville, NC, area, you would do yourselves a huge disservice by not stopping at the biggest damned heroic gaming store, The Wyvern's Tale. We would not be the APL without their love and support, and I mean for them to get their due of kudos.
Thanks, y'all. Stay tuned....this is just a commerical break.
Peace and nat 20s,
Dinketry

Boss, (this is how I lovingly refer to Paul)
You will be sorely missed. We couldn't have done it with out you and anything we accomplish down the road will be in your honor. We'll send many pics of us at the pub with glasses raised to you.
Hope to catch up one more time before you part.
*sniff, sniff* goodbyes are hard.
Love you man,
Luth.

There are lots of gamers at the University of Otago - I've met a few online. And if I've met a few, there has to be hundreds as little as I game online anymore.

Dunedin certainly sounds like its in Middle Earth. It would be cool to play a PFS game in Bag End.

I just stumbled across this post in a fit of insomnia... Dom and Fromper- things are going well here. Trying to find a way to contribute on the organizer level via setting up a forum similar to what Florida PFS had used (to quite an affect). We're close to going live with it, I think- Paul (Dink) is helping quite a bit in refining it as well though I haven't met him face to face yet (Auckland is a fair distance from Dunedin).
Just to share a bit of good news- the last of our stuff has arrived here (including my beloved Bestiary Box pawns, which I love dearly) and my wife begins her job this coming week while I am off until after January 1st.
I don't mean to detract from Dink's thread here- just chiming in that we are definitely in contact and working together on PFS stuffs. :-)
Namaarie, until we meeet again- WJ
PS- I find myself running the Blakros Museum scenarios (again) and wishing I had a flip-mat for it (again).
