Braelex backpedals, tossing three grenades in rapid succession, careful to exclude Relan from their blasts. The bombs explode with a fiery triple-thud, like a fireworks finale.
Two bombs at the thing in front of Relan (circle drawn for splash), exclude him of course. Third bomb at the duo attacking me.

Relan gets 2 AoOs (3 actually, but I think he caps at 2). No readied attack since your initiative is after theirs, but I used the roll as one of your AoOs. The damaged mists are marked with red dots.
First I think I mistakenly thought the 18 roll for knowledge was my init so I provided a readied action. My bad on that. It looks like you used that roll as his first AOO? If so good. If not please do. Also with Combat Reflexes you get 1 AOO + 1 AOO for each point of Dexterity bonus, so Relan does indeed get 3 AOOs.

Bleeding from three sources and down 7 con Relan feels like he has to fight defensively. He uses the Blessing of Ferver to increase his touch AC by 2 and combat expertise to add another 3 for a touch AC of 15 He then fights defensively for another 3 points of touch AC for a total of 18
Still power attacking he attacks the creature that he believes is the weakest, stepping back 5 to do so if needed.

Expertise is 3 now. Fighting defensively is 3 with ranks in acrobatics and Blessing choice is 2 for a total of 8. So actually it should be 12+8, or 20. But those attacks are at an additional -4 for fighting defensively. I remembered the -3 for expertise but forgot the -4. The nat 1 misses regardless but the first attack would be a 19 to hit. Note that Relan is at 5 con. Even if he is hit two more times he dies, on average. So I am hoping that at least one of these things is dead.

Braelex shreds the mists with a serious of shaped explosions and they scream and hiss as several of them discorporate, the smell of boiled blood heavy in the air.

Nalar annihilates the remaining mist attacking Relan and just misses a second one.

Ironically Relan is only down 2 points from the blood drain. Other damage is con loss and lowers his Hp total buy 24. So no life link for him, yet. At least that is how I think it should work.

He says as he holds out a hand, a gold piece in his fingers. With a slight motion the gold piece begins to shine like a torch. "Like so." With a chuckle he hands the piece to Braelex.

As he looks away from her and examines the wall his expression becomes a grimace. "Well this is, morbid. Any idea what it's supposed to be depicting, with all that blood the only thing that comes to mind is vampire orgy." He says before tapping his chin thoughtfully. "Though I wouldn't put it past Sorshen, seems right up her alley."

"I believe the depicted pyramid is the same one that serves as the base for Castle Korvosa in the city of Korvosa. I wonder what the significance is?" He turns to the maidens, "Does it mean anything to you?"

"Very much so." Nalar says, nodding in agreement with Braelex, casting Detect Magic on the room just to be safe. With a bit of willpower he resists ogling the lewd mural as he scans.

As the party gets closer to the mural to study it, the room wavers for a moment, the hallway behind them filling with mist and then becoming a wall.
Stepping out of three of the walls are emaciated figures, nearly skeletal with thin leathery skin draped tightly over their bodies. A reddish slime covers their skin and sizzles where it drips on the ground. They carry wicked looking polearms that brandish as they step forward.
Suddenly they pause and drop to their knees, heads bowed, one speaking in a voice like whispered silk.
"My lady Sorshen, why would you spring the trap without using the pass phrase. Do you wish to release us?"

Relan pockets the points for now pointing out the obvious use of I guess we could paint a door or passage if we need to pass through a wall. We could even finish some of this stone work if we needed to.

I see they found you without needing to come here."
And with a nod of his head he disappears, the other two following suit shortly thereafter.
Andel immediately begins to take a rubbing of the carving using several pieces of parchment to get it all.
