225. Weapon sparing with underlings. The BBEG discusses certain techniques that he likes (combat maneuvers) and what situations he likes to use them in. This could give the PCs some advance warning on what to expect. If the BBEG is not a martial character then he is watching his lieutenants spar and listens to them discuss their usual tactics. Caster BBEGs or lieutenants will discuss what spells they would use in given situations to best enemies.

Comic version: BBEG demonstrates his weapon prowess inside a bar in order to impress a woman. He slips and gives her a disfiguring scar.

283. Completing some kind of correspondence course related to his villainy. Bonus points if hes learning from a projected image of a demon, devil, or daemon, speaking in their respectice language that is voiced over in common quite poorly(Comic- not even remotely related to his villainy, like dentistry or wagon repair- and he's AWFUL at it, thinking he's doing a good job).

They instantly detects the scrying and teleports to the scryers location via a contingency spell, ready to pay handsomely for the scryers silence. They do NOT want to fight, merely parley, although they will kill to maintain silence if insulted or defend themselves if attacked).
