Mike & Mark,
Is it too late, or too complicated, or too redundant, or too lame to offer suggestions for boon chronicles for this year's con season? I know we had a long list last year, though it was mostly in response to replacing race boons. Maybe you are already doing this with the VO's?
Are you open to suggestions at this time?

I love the idea of opening up some classes that normally wouldn't be legal, such as the Daggermark Poisoner or Razmiran Priest.
Maybe the ability to take some sort of specialized Pathfinder feat or trait upon character creation? Something like 'Aspis Hunter' for rangers maybe, which gives you a favored enemy bonus v.s. the Aspis consortium.
It would also be neat to have some sort of ability related to the new story arc, whatever Season 5 is.
Ability to summon

Dwarven weapon training (you treat weapons with Dwarven in the name as martial weapons)
Elven weapon training (you treat weapons with Elven in the name as martial weapons)
Minor Weapon Proficiency (you gain proficiency with a single chosen martial weapon)
Minor Magical Knack (like Magical Knack, but only +1 CL)
Unlock some other currently banned/restricted classes and archetypes (Thassalonian Specialist comes to mind, and WOULD be thematic to the end of season 4, or I'd love to see the Chevalier added in)
Minor rage (rage as barbarian class ability x/day equal to con mod)
Boons that allow the purchase of new vanities! Or other alternative ways to spend PP.

How about a boon that lets you play a standard race, but without the -2 racial stat penalty? The tradeoff is that you have to give up one of the +2 bonuses, so the total is still the normal +2.
ie An elf without the -2 constitution, but they have to give up the +2 on intelligence or dexterity (player's choice). I thought of this because I keep thinking that the elven weapon proficiencies and dex bonus would make them a good martial race, but their con penalty makes it rough. Same goes for dwarves and the charisma penalty making them weaker as clerics, because that cha penalty hurts their channeling.
I think that would be a good enough and flavorful enough adjustment to a core race to be a boon people would actually want, without being overpowered.

OH, and small Aasimars/Tieflings, either due to halfling or gnome inheritance.
But expanding on my last suggestion, there any many ways in the ARG that a race can count as another, such as an Aasimar with Scion of Humanity, allowing them to qualify for feats/spells that require another race, but the additional resources specifically says you have to be the specific race. And humans can take Racial Heritage from the APG to make them count as another race, but they still cannot take that races feats/spells listed in the ARG.
Of course the boon might be exploitable by an Aasimar that takes Scion of Humanity and then takes Racial Heritage - which is currently legal, allowing an Aasimar to count as Human, Aasimar, and one additional humanoid.

Play a half orc or a human?
In all seriousness that does sound like an interesting boon. I'm seeing it being applied very frequently to small sized characters to get rid of the -2 penalty on strength.
And thus the Elite Cavaliers of the Paw were born.
I already play too many human PCs.
Yeah, halflings and gnomes are already pretty popular. The cha bonus makes them pretty good as cha based spellcasters, who typically don't need strength anyway, and benefit from the bonuses of being small sized a lot more than they suffer from the penalties. Without the strength penalties, they'd be even more popular as martial characters.
Maybe make the boon specific to one race at a time, so there would be an elf version, a dwarf version, a halfling version, etc. I seriously would like to try a martial themed elf of some sort, but that con penalty scares me. Right now, wizard is the only class I'd ever consider playing as an elf, and even then, I'd invest in boosting that con score to at least 12.

Here are some ideas for Con Boons from a brainstorming session:
Sable Company: A boon that lets you play a Sable Company Ranger Archtype. Here.
Inside Information: A boon that lets you save 5% per prestige point used (up to 10 pp and 50% off) one item whose value cannot exceed half you fame gold limit.
Extra Special Upgrade: A boon that allows you to add a GP cost upgrade to a 'Named' magic weapon or armor. Like adding Glamered (+2,700 gp) to a suit of Mithral Full Plate of Speed.
Saving Boost: A boon that give you a +2 to one save per scenario. Decision must be made before the results are revealed.
Recovered: A boon that allows you to recover one item that was not found (crossed off) on any chronicle sheet recorded before this boon is added.
Backdoor Key: I have know what this boon might be, but while I was brainstorming I just like this name. :-)
Thoroughbred: When you purchase a horse or pony with this boon, it receives a +2 Con and +2 Dex. This is useable only once. This can not be applied to an animal companion.
Quick Runner's Shirt: You have found a rare find in Golarion, a Quick Runner's Shirt. You may purchase one of these shirts at the marked up price of 2,000 gp. You may only have one of these boons per character.
Partial Quiver: You have found a quiver with 10 magical arrows in it. One time, you may purchase 10 magical arrows or bolts at the cost for 10 instead of needing to purchase 50. Indicate which type of magical arrow or bolt you purchased.
Used Wand: You have found a wand with 10 charges left on it for sale. One time, you may purchase a wand at the cost for 10 charges instead of a new wand with 50 charges. Indicate which type of magical arrow or bolt you purchased.
Improved Wand: You may purchase one wand created by a caster 4 levels higher than required for the spell. You must pay the higher cost. Cross off this boon when used.
Overflowing Beer: One time, you may ask Mike Brock what his favorite beer is. If he answers, you must pay for the filling of his mug with this beer. This earns you 1 fame point.
Elephant: You may purchase an Elephant as a steed. It is not combat trained and will take no part in combat, but it will not normally run away. The cost of upkeep is expensive. You must pay gp 100 per adventure in additional food and lodging costs.
Friend in Need Another cool sounding boon but I don't have an idea for.
Anyone else have some good ideas?

I really like the idea of boons that allow archetypes that normally aren't allowed because of flavor or alignment concerns. Here are a few I would like to see:
Sable Company Graduate: You graduated from the Endrin Military Academy, and learned the ways of the Sable Company. This character may take levels in the Sable Company Marine Ranger Archetype.
Pack Mentality: You are a sworn protector of a pack of animals. You may take levels in the Pack Lord Druid archetype. You must still adhere to the rule of having only one combat companion at any given time.
The Good Doctor: You were trained in both alchemy and the art of surgery. You may take levels in the Vivisectionist Alchemist archetype.
Guns are great!: You are one of the lucky few who have learned to use firearms without giving up your other studies. You may take levels in one of the following archetypes: Musketeer, Holy Gun, Trophy Hunter, Spellslinger.
|
|
inheritance: transfer one earned boon from the character who earned it to another character of the same player.
trained monkey: if your animal companion, eidolon, special mount or familiar has ranks in the appropriate skill they may roll to aid you (+2) in your day job check. Probably have three boxes, to represent the crowd growing bored with organ-grinding, dancing bears.
Masters spell book a spell book with a dozen or so (themed?) uncommon spells in it. To help wizards/witches build their repitoire.
Also these were from the last year's thread. Mike has probably already yoinked what he wanted from the list, but it could serve as brain-seed (or let you know it has already been suggested :)
One of the men I used to work for and really respect had a motto I still try to live by: Bring me solutions, not problems.
page One
• Each faction has it's own set of X unique chronicles.
• 1) Extra PP, or even Fame, say PP to replace some already spent.
• 2) Or a Family Connection? (My adopted father's sister's step son's wife is the sister of a Venture Captain.)
• 3) The ability to take a level of an NPC class. This would not be overpowering (some would say it's a lose of power) and very unique. And very noticable - "How'd you get to be an Expert?" "Con Boon".
• 4) A boon to allow a PC to be in two factions... the bridge character between two factions. He get's faction missions for either/both and gains Fame/Vanities in both?
• Premature access to a vanity (I know at least one player who is saving prestige just to get one of the vanities for their character)
• Faction Boons
• Taldor - Noble bearing. +4 on diplomacy with Taldor nobility, +2 on intimidate with peseants. (likely needs to be stronger)
• Cheliax - Legal tongue. +2 on Sense Motive, +2 on bluff vs humaniods.
• Andoran - Inspiring Freedom. +1 compentence bonus on skill checks, saves and to hit rolls when dealing with known slavers.
• Lantern Lodge - Serene mein. +2 on concentration checks.
• Shadow Lodge - Both sides of the fence. You may complete Shadow Lodgeor Grand Lodge missions for prestige (still maximum 2 per scenario).
-Deity Boons
• Cayden's Blessing- As a follower of Cayden you gain a +2 sacred bonus vs injested toxins and halve the hardness for sunder attempts for cell doors, chains or anything else the GM feels pertains to restraints.
• Caliistra's Blessing- As a follower of the Savoured Sting, you gain a +1 sacred bonus on all saves vs poison, and can do lethal damage with a whip.
• Exceptional Recruit Apply this boon to a brand-new PC. That PC gains 3XP, 4 Prestige/Fame, and 1,100gp.
• Boon permitting exceptional use of PP/Fame (I can't keep the two straight).
• Permanent +1 to CON
• Permanent +1 to physical stat of choice
• Permanent +1 to mental stat of choice
• Permanent +1 to stat of choice
• X/day quickened true strike SLA
• Give a brand new PC a free jump to 2nd level (3XP, 4PP/Fame, 1,100-ish gp)
• +1 to a stat.
• pretty much any SLA
• the ability to purchase scroll s at higher than minimum caster level.
• access to an otherwise unavailable item (like Celestial Plate or a Staff of Mithral Might)
• More advanced guns would bring me to a con
• Maybe allowing a combination item, such as a +WIS Headband/Phylactery of Positive Channeling, following the item creation rule of base item price + (1.5 x secondary ability price)
• Or allowing an upgrade to a named item (+3 Oathbow, anyone?)
• take the template instead of a level when you would otherwise level up an existing character.
• Adding an Advanced Simple or Celestial or Fiendish template might be cool though
• Darkvision 60ft (or increase existing darkvision by 30ft)
• Bonus feat (but can't be a combat feat, maybe?)
• X/day SLAs of comprehend languages or other utility spells
• A cool idea might be for a boon that say only 10 people ever will get (drawing at Gen Con?) like the ability to work with Mike Brock and Mark Moreland to craft a custom magic item (or race?--no, stop throwing things at me!) or whatever.
• Completely custom item would be cool. Maybe access to a custom spell. A spell you could even pass around and spread the love (and your creativity)
• Page Two
• A free Race trait instead of a swapout might be an option.
• My suggestion is a 10% discount on all purchases in a specific region (Andoran, Ustalav, w/e), but not Absalom...
• These could either a) correlate with scenarios being offered or b) have parts of Golarion assigned to the real world.
• The thought here is that by going to a convention in a certain region OR going to a convention with specific scenarios offered (depending on which way the idea is fleshed out), grants a special boon.
• This could be done in character as well. Much like the chronicle I mentioned before, have a chronicle with 20 regions of Golarion on it. Each time your character goes to that region, check it off. After you check off every region, you get a powerful boon (with the assumption your character would be late in their career).
• Use CHA instead of WIS for will saves
• - You character gets a unique, non combatant follower. Heralds and porters are cool, but can I get someone to do the talking for me? Maybe a translator. He has common and four languages. Pathfinders go all over the globe, maybe you have someone with ranks in know. geography or local at like a +2. Nothing too fancy.
• - Your character gains a flaw with in game mechanics and a benefit. From your ordeal fighting off all those undead, you get a +2 to identify undead in the future. However, the battle left you scarred and you suffer a -2 on diplomacy checks with nobility. Etc, etc.
• - Your character imparts some knowledge to a fellow pathfinder. After the game, your ranger shows that noisy, gorram fighter how to freaking stealth. Pick a skill that you have one or more ranks in, and a player that has no ranks in that skill. You train that player in that skill, granting them a number of ranks equal to 1/2 their level, minimum one. Maybe that skill even becomes a class skill. Whatever, doesn't matter.
• - You character learns how to pack their gear better. Your carrying capacity increases as if your strength score was 2 higher than it actually is. Pseudo muleback cords.
• - Your character takes an advanced course in adventuring at the Grand Lodge in Absalom. As a result, you've learned to keep even the oddest of tools in your pack. In game mechanic is that once per session you can pull a single item of value 50gp or less out of your pack, as it was something that you purchased because you thought it might be useful but had forgotten about. You have to pay for the item you retrieve at the end of the session, recording it on your chronicle sheet.
• A boon that provides the ability to retrain (one time) something regarding your character.
• Maybe the traits you chose at level 1 but now dont like.
• Maybe a feat/ multiple feats.
• Maybe spells learned.
• Maybe the ability to redistribute your stat points.
• Maybe skill points.
• Maybe favored class bonuses.
• Maybe racial features (considering we have the ARG coming out).
• Maybe class features that you have options for (Rage Powers, Cleric Domains, Rogue Talents, etc).
• Page three
• What about being able to make a new PC with a higher point buy?
• When you make a new PC using a race that has an ability penalty (like dwarves with CHA, elves with CON, etc), remove that penalty.
• Oh! Another, similar idea: alternate stats for Core races:
• Make a dwarf PC with +2 STR, +2 CON, -2 DEX instead of the normal adjustments.
• Make an elf with +2 DEX, +2 CHA, -2 CON .
• For Spont casters, an extra spell known of their highest level.
• Osiron - A permanent +2 on a knowlege skill, and that skill becomes a class skill. Gain a small earth or air elemental as a companion.
• Grand Lodge - Re-roll a failed saving throw once a session, Add either Knowlege (Geography) or Knowlege (History) as a class skill and get a free skill focus.
• Lantern Lodge - Meridian strike on every crit, or even every hit.
• Qadria, gain a horse animal companion.
• RPG Superstar magic items. Advertises the contest,
• Any boon that is awarded to a XXXX-1 character (as in first time PLAYER) not to first time characters :)
• A chance to win a room at [next big con] (sure you may have to share it with one of those 5th tier GMs, but why not :)
• Boons for season 4 Rune boons. You could do a tattoo/amulet the character has/wears with a benefit corresponding to the approriate rune.
• A slotted item (the headband) + a slotless item (the phylactery) would probably = a slotted item (headband + phylactery), which basically gives you no benefit that the separate items dont.
• For GMs, have games GMed at Authorized Conventions count just like Modules towards GM Stars.
• A Boon that opens up selected Feat/Prestige Class/Archetype/etc. from a third party product.
• A Boon that opens up some of the stuff not allowed in additional resources (Example all the Gun archetypes for other classes in UC)
• Fast Healing 1
• Ferocity
• * DR 3/Cold Iron
• * Amphibious Subtype
• * Blindsense 15 ft
• * Spell Resistance 5+HD
• * Telepathy
• Alkenstar Adept. Your character is familiar with the Mana Wastes and Alkenstar. You may have X archtypes.
• Numerian prospector. In your travels you were able to find a piece of technology from a shard of the silver mount that calved off, or from the mount itself. You may start with an advanced firearm.
• Page Four
• a boon that (temporarily) granted your teamwork feat to another PF
• I think a custom Pathfinder-themed archetype that you could apply to a new character or multiclass into with an existing character would certainly draw people to conventions as much as a race would.
• Lucky trinket- Player can choose another object that can be use in place of a faction shirt for a " shirt reroll" for this particular character. This would still only allow one reroll per session. Describe it in detail below."
• What about a boon that brought back the old heirloom weapon trait?
• One that allows banned or adventure path traits (Professor Lorimer wrote me a letter of introduction to the PFS!)such as magical knack.
• Double Agent: You may have an evil-aligned character as one of your Pathfinder Society characters.
• A boon that allows a restricted archetype would be awesome. Spellslinger, for one.
• Access to a rare familiar? Such as an elemental, etc.
• A unique trait, that lets you do something fun once per day (such as a watchman being able to gain a +5 on a diplomacy check with guards once per session).
• A unique ioun stone?
• unique named items could be found.
• The other would be rare familiar or mount or animal. Companion booms
• A 20 point custom race would be an awesome boon, and promote fluff and flavor as well
• So how about a strong boon that only works at conventions? At an official boon-giving con, you can do X cool thing.
• Boon: Sanctioned Slaughter - While playing a scenario at an official convention, your character gains a +1 Convention bonus on attack rolls.
• Boon: Lodge library access - Once per scenario, while playing a scenario at an official convention, your character gains access to the Scribe Scroll feat
• Boon: Lodge clerk access - Once per scenario, while playing a scenario at an official convention, you may hire a Society spellcaster to cast Permanency and any allowed spell with a cost of up to 7,500 gp
• Boon: Phantom Fingers - while playing a scenario at an official convention, you may force a Venture Captain or Paizo Employee to do a little dance for all to see. Cross out this boon when used.
• Boon: Phantom Fingers - while playing a scenario at an official convention, you may force a Venture Captain or Paizo Employee to do a little dance for all to see. Cross out this boon when used. Compilers edit: I cheated and put this one twice as I thought it was really cool.
• Boon: Luck of the Gods - while playing a scenario at an official convention, you may force a Game Master, Venture Captain, or Paizo Employee (who is not otherwise occupied) to blow on your dice for luck. Cross out this boon when used.
• Boon: Clean Living - while playing a scenario at an official convention, if you have taken a shower in the last 23 hours, you gain a +2 Convention bonus on Diplomacy checks and saving throws against poison and disease.
• "special mention" by the GM. For example before the game starts you hand the GM your boon sheet. The sheet has a blurb the GM introduces into the scenario where the GM sees fit. Like when the Venture Captain is handing out the orders, he address the PC by name and says "I want to personally thank you again for your heroic efforts during the Azlanti Scandel".
• Page 5
• A boon for one free rebuild. Faction and class(es) have to remain the same, (for bookkeeping) but archtypes, stat bumps, etc.
• Combat training - Your character trained in a combat intensive environment. You are proficient in all martial weapons.
• The ability to take extra channel more than once. Or a boon that gives extra channels.
• Friends in high places - You have made contacts with various scholars and spent long hours in conversation.
• Once per scenario, you may make a knowlege roll even if you are untrained in the knowlege, with a bonus equal to half your level + your intelligence modifier.
• Brigh's blessing. Your worship of the construct goddess has forever changed you. You have a 20% chance to negate precision damage, as light fortification.
• Abadarian Connections: If you are captured, you may use this boon to be released from captivity, free of charge. Once used, cross this boon off.
• Desna Laughs Once per scenario if a critical hit does enough damage to drop you to negative HP, you may treat that hit as if it never happened. You take a -1 luck penalty to to hit rolls for the remainder of the scenario.
• Torag's Durability: If your character would take enough damage to put them at -con, they are instead stable at 0 hitpoints. Once used, this boon is crossed off.
• Abadar's Balance: When an enemy hits you or has a spell affect you, you may have the effect apply to that enemy as well. This may not be reduced or mitigated. Once used, this boon is crossed off.
• Page Six
• a Continual Flame spell cast on an item your PC owns? Like a glove or sword or helmet... Perhaps a circlet? then you would have "a crown of fire"
• Touched by Castrovel Your half elf character has latent psionic potential. He may cast light on any crystal valued over 5 GP. This light lasts as long as he holds it.
|
Forcefield Wayfinder: Instead of endless Light, once per day as a standard action you can activate a Shock Shield spell, at caster level 5th.
Snapdragon Wayfinder: Instead of endless Light, three times per day you can activate Snapdragon Fireworks as a standard action at caster level 5th.
Escapist Wayfinder: Instead of endless Light, once a day you may activate Liberating Command as with a command word as an immediate action at caster level 5th.
Harmonic Steel Wayfinder: Instead of endless Light, once a day, as a standard action you may activate Effortless Armour at caster level 5th.
Hatred Detector Wayfinder: Instead of endless Light, the wielder may cast Anticipate Peril once a day as a standard action, at caster level 5th. Due to the magic of the Wayfinder, the duration is extended to 5 hours, instead of 5 minutes.
Undead Hunter's Wayfinder: Instead of endless Light, five times a day the wielder can cast Sanctify Corpse as a standard action at caster level 5th.
|
Favor of the Clergy - Thanks to your previous clandestine errands for certain members in the church, you are given a promise of restorative treatment should you need it. If you apply this Chronicle to a character after a session in which your character dies, you may have Raise Dead cast on that character for free. If you apply this Chronicle to a character before a session in which your character dies, you may have Resurrection cast on that character for free. Cross this boon off when you have used either service.

Dedicated Agent:Your loyalty to your chosen faction is unwavering and you will stop at nothing to further their goals. Once per scenario, while attempting to complete your faction mission, you may receive a +2 bonus on any one d20 roll directly related to your mission. You may apply this after the roll is made, but it must be before the result is announced.
Alternatively, you may choose one of the following benefits during a scenario. Cross this boon off after doing so. You may receive no further benefits from it.
- Make a single untrained skill check for a skill that may otherwise only be utilized trained, when said skill check is directly related to the completion of your faction mission.
- Re-roll any one check directly related to completing your faction mission. You must accept the second result.
Only one of these boons may be attached to any one character.

Boon:
Small: You are unusually small for your kind. Regardless of race, you are now a small creature and gain a +1 size bonus to your AC, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, a –1 penalty to their Combat Maneuver Bonus and Combat Maneuver Defense, and a +4 size bonus on Stealth checks.
[Lots of people wanted (probably still want) to play small sized Tieflings or Aasimar.]
Best Boon Idea I have EVER Had:
Release ALL boons made available via Cons to either general play (e.g. Tieflings, Tengu, and Aasimar becoming legal to play) or as boons available in the following year's season modules.
In short, a Con Boon gets you a one year head start, not permanent advantage. Many of the dedicated PFS players cannot attend Cons. I don't begrudge players who can attend something cool, but I think a one year head start is plenty cool.

Race Boon: Kobolds
A limited release, like the Goblins were last year.
Weapon Training Tian Xia
Gain Proficiency in one weapon listed in Ultimate Combat.
Society Trait Boon
Your character receives a bonus trait form the Society Traits listed in the Pathfinder Chronicles: Faction Guide. Could be a random one or a selected one, however Mike wants it.

I like the idea of boons that offer more RP than mechanical benefits. Titles are always good. Likewise, how about a boon that would let a select group actually be members of the extended Blackros family (or perhaps another family/group with whom the Society works)? Not thinking that it should have big (if any) benefits when it comes to game mechanics. Just thinking that it would be cool to have another way of connecting PCs to the emerging story lines and world in general.

Had a thought the other day--how about a "race boon" that opens up Orc options (APG, OoG) to half-Orcs? Make it the first boon on the character, just like a race boon, and boom. Opens up new options, which under non-PFS rules are already legal (so it's not inherently unbalancing), without adding new races.
|
|
That would be THE most coveted boon ever if it opened up access to scarred witch doctor. 30 Con casters here we come!

That would be pretty popular--that might be more of a GenCon GM boon, then. Still a fun booth play with.

I would like to see boons that tied to series.
Examples:
You completed 10 missions in Xian Tia:
Boon: Tien Language: You now know how to read and to a lesser degree speak, however broken, the Tien language.
You completed 10 missions for Lady Heidlmarch:
Boon: Varisian Language: You now understand the subtle difference between Cow and Mom in Varisian. You have learned the varied graduations and can read and speak Varisian.
You completed 10 missions in the frozen north . . .
You completed 10 missions in the burning Osirian Desert . . .
You competed 10 missions dealing the the amazingly ugly goblins . . .
===========================================================
and I still love the idea of a boon to allow Human (with appropriate Racial Heritage feat), Half _______, Aasimar, and Tiefling to choose Gnome or Halfling as their ancestry, granting Small Size.

+1 to this, for sure.
As has been mentioned multiple times, the ability to use a variant heritage for your Tiefling or Aasimar would be nice, and not just the small sized variety. It'd end up being purely fluff for those not going with the small size adjustment, but being able to have an Aasimar that came from Elven parents, or a Tiefling that was born among Dwarves, would be neat to have for a character's background and flavor.
I also agree with the call for boons that open archetypes (I want a spellslinger like you wouldn't believe) or prestige classes (What about a neutral assassin instead of an evil one?) that aren't currently available.

Also, just thought of this one, which would DEFINITELY need to be a Con boon.
No, no, no, that's not how it happened...: Whether due to excessive consumption of alcohol, a few too many hits to your head, or the use of mind-altering spells, your recollection of one of your adventures isn't entirely correct. Choose one of the following options, crossing the rest off.
- Gain the difference in the amount of gold earned from a particular scenario between what was listed for the subtier you played, and what you actually gained. Once this boon is used, cross this off.
- Gain the difference in the amount of prestige earned from a particular scenario between the maximum possible and what you actually gained. Once this boon is used, cross this off.
- Gain a boon that you did not get access to on a chronicle sheet that was normally available to the subtier that you played. Once this boon is used, cross this off.
And then there should be a line for the player to write in what chronicle sheet this is being applied to and a section for a GM to check the use of the boon and sign off on it.

Oh! I had an idea for two boons (or one where you choose between the two):
1. 2 Fame. Add two to your fame score, but do not add 2PP--this raises your total, but doesn't allow you to spend more. You could call it "famous error"--people have heard about you because you made some hilarious error in an ancient tomb, but you don't have any more influence to cash in, because it was an error, not a success.
2. 2 PP. Add two to your total available PP, but don't increase your fame total. The flavor text could be that you did some discreet favors for influential people--you have more sway to cash in, but it doesn't increase your fame, because it was all very hush-hush.
Thoughts?

I have ideas...
Boons...
Race boon limited release ... Kobold.
Race Boon prize for special (if there is some sort of winning table announced) ... Catfolk.
Race Boon for GM gaining a star during Gen Con... Fetchling.
Boon "Friends like these."
"As you have gone through your career as a Pathfinder, some of your dealings with others have been somewhat obtuse to how trustworthy they are to your cause." Gain +5 to Sense Motive rolls when you are working for the Pathfinder Society in a mission or quest.
Boon "Do you know who I am?"
"Your work as a Pathfinder has garnered you a reputation." When you fail a skill check to persuade or fool someone, you can use this boon and reroll it with a +5 to that roll. Cross off this boon when you do.
Boon "I am the best at what I do."
"You take your craft/profession seriously." Anytime you roll a dayjob, you can roll twice and take the higher total. If you take 10, you can choose to take 20 and cross off this boon.
I have ideas.

Race boon limited release ... Kobold.
With the outrage/backlash that cropped up from just 30-some-odd Goblins being released, I'd be amazed if this ever happened.
Race Boon prize for special (if there is some sort of winning table announced) ... Catfolk.
Already seems to be on the block for consideration according to a recent-ish blog post along with Ratfolk.
Race Boon for GM gaining a star during Gen Con... Fetchling.
Was already given as a special boon for players that played the 12+ tier of the Grand Convocation last year and folks who GM'd it and applied it to 12+ characters.
The rest of the boons you listed, though, are definitely things to consider. :)

here's a thought for a Boon....
"Invited to a Heroes' Feast" - your PC, while at the Lodge this morning, got invited to join a band of high level adventurers during the casting of a Heroes' Feast spell (CL12). It seems there were some empty seats at the table, and you where in the right place at the right time. Apply the benifits of a Hero's Feast (CL12) spell to your PC for the next 24 hours...
