I've been selling and installing for a couple years and finally brought some home to play with...
The Sonos:Connect is an amazing little box.
It is a streaming media do-hickey that connects to you network and then to your stereo or home theater.
It streams content from Pandora, Rhapsody, FreeFM, Spotify, etc, etc, etc. Whatever flavor you prefer and they're adding new service providers all the time.
The next feature, which might be its greatest for me, is access to any music stored on your network. I ran an internet radio station for several years and have a couple NAS drives to show for it!
The Sonos Controller App is free and awesome!
The Sonos:Amp combines all the features of the Connect, plus a 2 Ch. x 55W amplifier. Plug in the network and speakers and viola'.
I installed a pair of speakers on stands with an AMP in my game room. I can play Midnight Syndicate and several other instrumental pieces during sessions with little effort and perfect timing.
I strongly recommend this to anyone who loves music.
