I don't know how creative your dm would allow you to be with spells if he is that pro-slinger, but it seems to me that 2 gallons of Create Water would fill an awful lot of gun barrels and powder horns, just have to be within 25 feet with a level 1 Cleric.

Fun? I think so =)

Hm. To be fair, running to a community and have them build the anti-gun character, kinda defeats the GM's challenge that you do it. But in general principles, I figure concealment/miss chances are your friend. The water idea is also good, likewise 'heat metal' can result in some particularly interesting results if you mess with gun barrels and stuff.

Remember, if they use alchemical catridges, then they are not using a powder horn.

Grand Lodge

Eat the cartridges, eat the guns.

Think of it like an adventure. When your characters are tasked with something, do they just go off into the wilderness and try to solve it or do they seek advice from the locals in the nearby community first?

The community can give advice and tips, but in the end you are the one who has to do it. :)
