So I just got my digital copy of Ultimate Equipment and was wondering if anyone had any questions about what kind of things to look forward to in this newest of hardbacks from our favorite purple golem? I know this is one of the ones that I haven't had as much excitement for as the last one so having some questions that get me looking around might help me get as amped up as some of those still waiting for their copies to hit the street. So let the questions begin!

First... so jealous....
Second... any new ioun stones? (what can I say I'm a fan)
What about stuff for wizards (spellbooks, new bonded items, wizard equivalent of robes of arcane heritage)?
Remember not to post any specifics out of respect for the host.
1.) Thank you it's awesome that with the subscription you get the pdf's as soon as they ship so you can look them over while you wait.
2.) still looking so far have made it to the basic gear section which leads to number 3...
3.) Are you also looking for mundane gear for other arcane casters like say witch's or just wizards? If so I've found out they got mithril cauldrons as well as cooking utensils perfect for handling those tough hard to boil victims that don't want you to use the cook people hex on them.

Forgottenprince: Why would posting specifics be disrespectful? Itll appear on the D20PFSRD soon enough. Some of us are just waiting until the 16th when the rest of us can purchase it.
Doc The Grey: Anything that really catches your eye? Something that is just 'wow' what a cool item?

Saying "It has five new ioun stones, including one that allows you to fight like a monk!" is okay.
Copying/pasting the actual entry for an item/feat/etc. has brought out the paizo staff in the past. The fact that the stats will make it to D20pfsrd in due time has not stopped them from making the reasonable request not to put their brand-spanking new material on the web, at release, for free.

Because I have a couple of subscriptions shipping at the same time, I usually get my notification later in the process (c'est la vie).
As for the mithral cauldron.... thats hilarious!

So far (I'm just in gear mind you) One of the things that has really caught my eye is that their aren't many new weapons but a lot of art for weapons especially ones we may not have seen before including elven curved blades (THANK GOD). We do finally have a repeating hand crossbow though as well as a change that allows you to use sword canes with finesse which makes me happy. Other thing we get is some new materials including things like angelskin, blood crystal, viridium, and living metal! I have yet to read them but I want to know. On top of that they have finally started to port the kit concept from the field guide over to hear with actual kits for each class thus far which is really nice for new players. The other things I've seen is a lot of fun mundane gear that would make interesting loot drops from amongst various raiders like goblins or stuff for those who play characters with odd professions like a midwife's kit or like to have a halflings sized pockets filled with all the odds & ends you might need to save you from any situation including things like glues, holy symbols with potion sized compartments, or other various things you may need. Hell i just found a veterinarians kit which makes me envision a very interesting conversation between your wounded fighter and their druid when he needs a patch job.

Ohh they also have prices for just about any animal or beast you would want to have for an animal companion, mount, or familiar. This makes stating out an axe beak treasure horde a lot more interesting when the players figure out they just ate 600 gp in axe beak eggs.
Edit: they also have translation books you can buy to help you with local languages! May your wizard never be at a loss for words again!

Like I said in the other thread I'm paying for 1.5 weapons but can only use it on roughly 1/2 my attacks and its still prevented from reaching a full +10. But for a Druid or Eidolion (not sure if an AC could use it thinking about it) with a few attacks they can now Hit AoMF numbers for 3/4 cost and go beyond that without worrying about the fact that it only 1 to 4 times a round.

Poisons? Maybeso?
Haven't ran into those yet but have found Bufo, an alcohol made by soaking poisonous animals or their eggs in weak alcohol. It is often made by goblins, boggards, and other primitive cultures and the aforementioned animal is sometimes left in the drink "for flavor". Now I have something new to throw the alcoholic rogues way when they get back to the primitive orc town they are staying in.

Other other thing, they have trail rations for each of the base races that give special abilities to that race if they eat them for a week. The gnome one gives you bonuses on hit die based spells.

What about services? Like transportation and hirelings and such?
Just got there my good sir but from what I'm seeing it tells you how much you will spend to hit a bath, get yourself a strumpet, and then hire a doc to cure what ails you the next morning in the first 3 entries (suffice it to say it will run you somewhere between 1.07-12gp as listed for the whole shebang ^-^).

Is there anything archer related that's new? Like new arrows, or new quiver/ bows? Just about anything archer related I guess.
This. Also, is the grappling arrow in there? I've been trying to track down a copy of Adventurer's Armory for reference, but it's surprisingly scarce, and I'd love to just have it in UE.
I'd be a little surprised if they had a quiver that was really interesting (unless they gave us one that was permanently enchanted with Abundant Ammunition, which I doubt), but I'd love some more arrow types. Nonmagical arrow variations are the spice of my life. Nothing is more fun than launching a smoke arrow imbued with Concealing Fog just when the enemy caster is about to scorch us all.

Lets see here...
We have new repeating hand crossbow which sounds pretty cool, we have blunt arrows and grappling hook arrows (which are in the gear section not the weapon section). Now as for really new arrows their really aren't any but the new materials are actually pretty cool for arrows including crystal shards that drink the blood of the target if he's suffering from bleeding attacks and irradiated crystal that can disease or poison a target. Will start looking for quivers here in a sec.

Anything that boosts bardic performance?
Anything for the Guide Archetype.
yeah so far I've seen an armor type that makes the armor sing soft hymns while the character moves about granting him a bonus on perform check but a penalty on stealth checks unless he does absolutely nothing. I believe it also extends all bardic performances by one round as it carries the tune for you.

New special materials? I can't wait until the 16th to read them. D:
Oh, there be new materials. The Darkleaf from ARG (elves) is now available to all races, though. That made me "lowl" in regard to PFS.
As for arrows, there don't appear to be any new trick arrows other than grapple arrow. It makes me sad that the Elves of Golarion trick arrows got skipped. However, there are a few newer (I think) magical arrows, such as a scorching and a sizzling arrow (fire and acid, respectively).
Edit #1:
Materials:
Adamantine [ammo]; Alchemical silver [ammo]; Angelskin; Blood Crystal [ammo]; Cold iron; Darkleaf Cloth; Darkwood; Dragonhide; Eel hide; Elysian Bronze [ammo]; Fire-forged steel [ammo]; Frost-forged steel [ammo]; Greenwood; Griffon mane; Living steel [ammo]; Mithral; Viridium [ammo]; Whipwood; Wyroot; Bone; Bronze; Gold; Obsidian; Stone
Noteworthy: they fixed the "+2gp"-esque typo from Core Rulebook for special material ammo, so it now says +2gp per item, rather than "+60gp per unit of ammo" and "+2gp", which was confusing
Edits #2:
Arrows:
Arrows; Blunt Arrows; Flight Arrows; Smoke Arrow; Whistling Arrow; Grappling Arrow [gear]; Hushing arrow [magic]; Searing arrow [magic]; Sizzling arrow [magic]; Slaying arrow [magic]; Sleep arrow [magic]
Neat archery stuff:
Arrowmaster’s Bracers (1/day swift +20 insight on next ranged attack)
Ammunition enhancements:
Special:
Dry load*
+1 Ammunition Base Price:
Bane; Conductive; Corrosive; Cruel; Cunning; Flaming; Frost; Ghost touch; Limning; Merciful; Planar; Seeking; Shock; Thundering
+2 Ammunition Base Price:
Anarchic; Axiomatic; Corrosive burst; Designating, lesser; Flaming burst; Holy; Icy burst; Igniting; Phase locking; Shocking burst; Unholy
+4 Ammunition Base Price
Brilliant energy; Designating, greater

Nice special materials. Can't wait for that at least. Still upset about no real new arrows. The grappling hook arrow is ok, but it's only 30'. For climbing a wall or crossing a moat or something, 30' isn't going to do much.
The materials give a few neat tricks, such as fire and frost steel. "If the weapon is exposed to 10 points or more of fire damage (such as from an opponent’s fireball or by holding it in a campfire for 1 full round), the weapon adds +1d4 points of fire damage to its attacks for the next 2 rounds." Same idea with frost. So, now a non-magical source of fire/ice arrows. Then there's the sizzling magical, which does acid damage continually for a few rounds (3) after it hits and its searing fire counterpart. I think the hushing arrow is new, too (opposite of whistling arrow) and it silences the target.
I'll not search for "bows", though, since "arrow" got me enough false positive hits to wade through :P

It has been available to all races.
Racial equipment and magic items can be purchased and used by any race as long as the specific item permits it (for example, only halflings can purchase and use solidsmoke pipeweed).
And there's nothing in the description that makes it only available to elves like there is for the solidsmoke pipeweed.

Have they fixed it so that it can reduce ASF to zero? God knows that there are enough other methods of zero ASF armor, that one more won't break the game, and non arcane casters simply aren't going to care, thanks to the mithril chain shirt.

Ahh, Death By A Thousand Cuts. The very same philosophy that killed 3.5.
