[No spoilers please]
I organize a group, but am a player too, so it is difficult to know what is in the mods to better plan ahead.
Our plan is to get a set of slightly more Tian Xia flavoured PCs through 'First Steps', then use them to work through the Year 3 Ruby Phoenix / Tian Xia mods.
Does anyone have any advice on which to do in which order? Looking at the front cover pictures the ones with a red Ruby Phoenix badge start with 3-03 The Ghenett Manor Gauntlet but that seems to be set in Katapesh and continue with 3-04 The Kortos Envoy, which is set on Kortos; so, does that badge mean anything at all? 3-15, on the other hand, has no badge but is set in Minkai.
Also there are jumps in Tiering so we may need to fill in some gaps with other mods to bridge.
What would people recommend as a way through bearing in mind PCs will start at level 2.0?
Thanks
J

The badge means a connection to the Ruby Phoenix plot arc. Ghenett Manor, for instance, has the team attempting to secure a tome of combat training tips in order to have a better chance at winning the tournament (which is not a spoiler--it's in the VC briefing at the beginning of the scenario).

Yeah, basically, the marked scenarios prior to Wonders of the Weave are pre-Ruby Phoenix Tournament. They're about collecting artifacts/knowledge for the Pathfinder Society to use during the tourney to help them win. The scenarios WotW and after that are marked are exploring the prize the PFS won at the tourney. There are others that are set in Tian Xia that have nothing to do with the tourney that aren't marked.

It'd be pretty hard to plot this out without giving spoilers.
Someone was doing it in the Modules section (running an arc as a lead up to The Ruby Phoenix Tournament module). Here's a link. It looks like there aren't any spoilers in there, but it also looks like he didn't get a lot of action in that thread.
Perhaps your GM should get in touch with DMFTodd (the guy who started that other thread), or be asking the questions here, as he's going to need to know the scenarios to run them, anyway?
