A possible (far in the future) version 5E?

I had thought of using MTG as a setting before. Players that wanted spell casting would have to be landed nobility. That title binds them to land from which they could draw power from.

We've actually done something somewhat similar with Untold, except it's far more "RPG-oriented" than what this article describes. :)

We played a version of magic as an RPG years ago when it first came out, but it was more a distraction than a serious effort.

Eh, I'm not sure I like the looks of Untold. But there are no retailers around here and I don't see the benefit of buying a starter deck if I won't play it. Though, it looks like it could be some fun. But it also looks like it's MORE to buy than most rpg books, but I could be wrong.

Looks kind of interesting. Though I prefer a deck of standard cards when it comes to rpg.

It's actually not because you only have to buy what you want - everything optional - there's nothing required that you have to buy (I guess, except for the Starter...).

We are thin on retailers, as we fulfill direct, not via distributors; however, we are growing (adding 10 new retailers soon) and we have a pretty wide spread on players. Check here to see if there are any players in your area!

Sorry for the (sorta) hijack... :P
