Pathfinder Chronicles in Pathfinder Online?

I know the game will not be a straight port of the tabletop RPG, but will resources like Pathfinder Chronicles still be applicable?

I'm seriously considering buying this to study up on the lay of the land, as it were. Will PFO stay true to this to the extent it can, with player-created content being an extension of it, rather than replacing much of it?
