Kaer Maga, Absalom, etc. ala Ptolus

Liberty's Edge

Not sure if this question was ever asked so forgive if I'm repeating a thread. Has Paizo ever entertained or mentioned the idea of putting out a hardcover on the scale of Ptolus? There are so many interesting cities in Golarion that would fit nicely into a massive tome.
I know it would be expensive but I'm sure there is a dedicated following out there that woudl be willing to sacrifice food and medical care for such a book.

I think that might be a bit much for a single city at this point. I loved Ptolus too, but the city kind of was the setting. With such vast stretches of Golarion not yet even having a 64-page supplement, it would be a gamble to give one single city the full on hardcover treatment. I'd rather get a hardcover for Garund, Vudra, or the various unexplored bits of the planet first.

It's entirely possible that we'll put out a hardcover city book someday, though I doubt it would ever be the size of Ptolus. But for all the reasons Mort mentioned, it's not in the cards right at the moment. There's still a LOT of ground to cover on Golarion...

A hardcover book about Absalom would be perfect, I'd sacrifice all the books about Sharn, Waterdeep, Ptolus for it

As a GM running an Absalom campaign, I would dealry love some new Absalom stuff. Frankly, just a large, multi-panel map of the city would be invaluable to me. Like give-you-my-first-born priceless.
