Here's what I remember... it was a pull-out module in the center pages, on glossy paper in the Second Edition days when the magazine was stapled on news paper.
The adventure featured a dungeon, a bridge over a river/canyon, there may have been a dramatic fight on that bridge...
Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about..?

Oh, I think it was "Chasm bridge" (not totally sure), a Dungeon bonus adventure published as an ad in Dragon.
You got a crippled illusionist left behind by his buddies in the Underdark, who scraped a living by extorting a toll on a bridge using some illusion spells to impress travellers ("leave some food on the stone there, or I will devour your, GRAAOOR !").
Is that the one ?
