I apologize if there has already been a thread made on this but i didnt come across one so I felt the need to add it. I have been searching for a Sandbox MMO for a while now and this one sounds like it will be very promising. One thing I look for most of all in an MMO is the Crafting. I had a great experience with the old Star wars Galaxies Crafting system and since them I have yet to see a crafting system as put together as theres was. I love to be able to collect items and then add them all together to make something. I have been looking all over for an equivalent to that crafting system but all the forums i have read all say Galaxies is still the best crafting system ever made. I am hoping there will be a type of crafting system on pathfinder as fun as that had been.
Hey and welcome, we only know bits and pieces about crafting, and well anything that will be in PFO, but at least from the concepts we are hearing, it will be viable to have a character fully set out for crafting, it seems to be implied that the characters that do the main crafting and the ones that do the harvesting will not necessarily be the same (IE adventurer with good combat/defense skills will likely need to get the stuff, while someone who likely put the skills for survival into crafting will be the one to actually turn it into something worth using).

Pay especial attention to posts by Ryan Dancey, as he would be the only person to know the majority of what is actually being planned (though even his ideas can be subject to change when either reading opinions or the reality of mechanics sets in), most of the rest of us can only speculate and take guesses on what is being planned.
