Only what was requested, but it was a pretty small window for people to get in on it, so that is why we'll be taking another order on game day. They should be ready for SCARAB for those of you showing your APL pride at South Carolina's premiere 4-day gaming con!
Are these the black or red shirts?

Woot, good timing for lots of questions, but if RainyDay had held off a minute he could have put up the slam dunk!
Maybe it was good karma for offering to GM. What say you regarding the other Part 2 scenario and should we have another non-sequential on the schedule for the 22nd?
I am imagining a large stuffed purple golem and some cotton candy...

Hello amigos and amigets (yes I know that's wrong, *giggles*)
We are filling up very fast... We are trending toward having 6 full tables, GO TEAM! You have done a great job getting out the word. If you have anyone out there who is sitting on the fence, let them know that by the day of we may be completely full! Can't wait to see you all Saturday. Remember, if you have questions about your character, get to WT extra early! We start rolling dice at 4pm, so if you show up AT 4 you're late... This train waits for no one :)
Counting his shinies....

OK, shameless plug time. Iron Hills Games is running a special for Damnable Things: Rings Friday through Sunday in celebration of The Hobbit: An Uexpected Journey.
This material is NOT PFS approved, but if you want to mess with your players in a home game ... ;)

Wow. One day to go until the first year anniversary of the APL. I will make no effort to hide the fact that our lovely little Lodge has been my home, my haven, my shield for the past 12 months. But let me try to sum it up via numbers. Since December 9, 2011....
The APL has run 35+ separate Game Days, including 17 Grand Lodge Game Days at the Wyvern's Tale/Blitzkrieg Games/Hillside Games/World Coffee.
We have established 9 regular sites of official credit-earning PFS goodness in western NC (including private home games that I'm AWARE of).
The APL has run (by my count) 72 separate tables of Pathfinder Society Awesome at the Wyvern's Tale. And that doesn't include the Shadow Lodge tables happening on Mondays, Thursdays, or Fridays.
We have registered over 60 local Pathfinders for regular games using the Warhorn site.
We have enlisted 15 separate GMs per the Warhorn site.
We have made organized appearances as the Asheville Pathfinder Lodge (in t-shirts) in South Carolina (various), Tennessee (Kingsport/Chattanooga), Georgia (Atlanta), Pennsylvania (King of Prussia), Washington (Seattle), Oregon (Portland), and all over the state of North Carolina.
We have run two separate conventions in Asheville.
We have produced gaming gear (t-shirts) and games (Goblin Moon Day) that have garnered attention from Paizo HQ.
We rock. That is all. I'll be yelling my love at you tomorrow through a bullhorn.
Cheers,
Paul

Per Warhorn (granted: it could be inaccurate)....
Houston (pop: 2.1 million) Pathfinder Society: 3-4 PFS tables per week
Detroit (pop: 700K people) Pathfinder Society: 5-6 PFS tables per week
Raleigh (pop: 400K people) Pathfinder Society: 4-5 PFS tables per week
Asheville (pop: 84K people) Pathfinder Society: 5-6 PFS tables per week
I think we're holding our own...

Red. We can see if we have enough for another black order, but we would need an order of at least 15 to make it cost-effective.

Words fail me at how awesome tonight's "Blood Under Absalom" Asheville Pathfinder Lodge's 1 Year Anniversary Extravaganza was.
First and foremost thanks to Declan and Simeon of The Wyvern's Tale for our space. Thanks to our intrepid VC Paul for organizing (or is that Overseeing) the madness and to all the volunteers, cake bringers and decorators.
Thanks to all the GMs and all the players.
I've been to a lot (a lot) of conventions where they did not have half (or a quarter) of the organization you all put together and thereby I didn't have one-third the fun I had tonight.
I had been fighting a sinus infection for the last three days and even this afternoon, I was mulling over whether or not I should attend.
I am overjoyed that I did.
Best. Ever.

Hope you guys had a fantastic time at the Anniversary event. I know I did! Solid role playing all around the table from Grognard to Newbie, and you gotta love it when the youngest pathfinder wins the wayfinder! A big thank you to the Wyvern's Tale, Paul, Dain, and all the GMs that put in so much time, effort, and money to make it an incredible evening.
I hope this was the first of many such events, and we may be able to incorporate a charitable element to it next year which would be all the better!
For those of you who didn't get a chance to commemorate the event with one of our snazzy red anniversary t-shirts, we'll be doing one more run of these, then retire them forever! Be a part of APL history, and show you were there at the legendary Blood Under Asheville event! Private Message me on here if you want to get in on the post-event order. I'll leave it open for a week, and build a spreadsheet with a link so you can confirm sizes and quantities. Good gaming, everyone!

I really cannot say any more than what's already been said. I had a blast on Saturday (especially the bits of shouting through the bullhorn - I quite liked that). A special congratulations to Seth Padgett, our youngest Pathfinder of the event, won the APL One Year Anniversary Wayfinder!!! Here's hoping to see a lot more of Seth and Richard at the Lodge!
A link to pictures will be posted on here later today.
The APL does not take a break around the holidays! In fact, this is the time when a lot of friends and family are back in town from school or visiting relatives and looking for a pick-up game on a Friday or Saturday (night). And we've got the games for them! Check out the Warhorn site to find our latest offerings, including some high-level fare, and plenty of new scenarios from Season 4 to tempt even the most seasoned of Pathfinder palates!
SCARAB is right around the corner!!! Are you going? Are you registered? Are you experienced? This will be an awesome convention, and we at the APL want to make sure your character has been prepped, groomed, trimmed, and vetted thoroughly before you don your brand spanking-new APL t-shirt and head down to Columbia (from 1/18-1/21) to get your gaming on. Your PFS crew has will be holding an official PFS Character Review on Saturday, January 12th at the WT. Times will be listed on the Warhorn. Come by and get a character wash, dry, rinse, and maybe even a HeroLab treatment or two.
A brief note for SCARAB-goers. Our APL t-shirts rock, and they have special powers in Asheville, but they are not sanctioned shirts for "Table Re-Rolls" at PFS conventions and games outside of the APL. FYI - but be sure to sport the colors!
Another month - another convention! Soon after the dust from SCARAB settles, we'll be coming up quickly on another area convention. STELLARCON will be taking off for the stars in Greensboro from March 1st-3rd, and guess who'll be in charge of running the PFS games for this stellar event? That's right - me. So here's the first call for GMs - if I have any APLers who want to run ANY event (Pathfinder or *gasp* anything else) - hit me up!
Last, but most definitely NOT least....
SHE'S BAAAAAAAACK.... (notice the logo at the top of the page)
Happy Monday, my delightful donkey rats.

As I reflect on Saturday and what a great event it was I am struck by one thing....
This is/was only the beginning! When we look back on this event in future (as well done and awesome as it was!) We'll think to ourselves "man, look how far we come.".
I don't think, I know we have the best lodge in the land and we're only getting better.
Keep recruiting new players! Keep honing your roleplaying chops! Keep creating and leveling up new and interesting characters! Look for Conventions and coordinate attending with your lodgemates! And most of all be proud to be a gamer and a member of this lodge, because it so damn cool and folks who don't get it are missing out... *puts away soapbox*

Glad to hear this went well. You guys have my respect for how you have grown your lodge over the past year!
Zylphryx and I just punched our tickets for PaizoCon this week! We can give deliver your Blood Under Asheville t-shirt in person and bore you comatose with stories from our Little Lodge That Could.
Alternately, we could just bring beer from Beer City USA (Asheville! Asheville!) and give the Fire Mountain Games guys some competition in the "After Hours Spirits Taste Testing" gaming slot.
And we may be able to lure some of our other APLers to Seattle this year.....Bueller? Bueller?

PS. Gaming tonite at the Deck Box in Fletcher! Mr. Dr. Michael Jones will be manning the helm at the ship that is the second part of the Quest for Perfection series! Come by at 6PM for fun, frivolity, and other words beginning with 'F'!

We do also have those new local distilleries ... should bring out some 'shine. ;)
And thanks Mike! It has come a long way since our first PFS game (we had what? Two tables of 4?) and we're still growing.
