I tend to get a feel for a character's personality and motivations the longer that I play her.
So I suppose a quick question would be, if I were to work on a more detailed back story to explain where, specifically this character has been and what is now motivating her to move foreword, would that interest you? I'd likely work on it anyway, because I enjoy puzzling out my characters more than the mechanical angle... Just wondering if it could be used in any other way, or if what is currently in the profile is good enough?

Sorry for the reply delay! Yes, if you would like to involve more backstory in your character, that's just fine. What's in the profile is good stuff, and I'm glad that you've put so much work into it. If you want to create more, feel free to do so in any format. I like google docs myself, but feel free to put it anywhere I can get to.

No problem. Initially I was apprehensive about the whole NPC "romance" angle as it could get... you know, weird, but I am assuming we're all adults here. I am actually rather excited now, that you as a player have the ability to influence the world to that degree, now. It is an interesting mechanic, to be sure.
That is why I am putting so much work into it, because I would think that in anything less than a full RP type situation that it would just come off as artificial and lame. There has to be some manner of build up to a relationship with a character, not just a junior high note with "do you like me? circle yes or no" scrawled on across a sheet of filer paper.
