Slogans for signs

Product Discussion

Silver Crusade

I have to do three sign mockups. Tell me how each of these make you feel?

Slogan 1:
"Not every adventure is in the Middle Ages."
(3 portraits of a Phalangite, sorceress, and athlete under the slogan).

Slogan 2:
"Villeinage shouldn't be your background."
(portrait of Hercules.)

Slogan 3:
"The Dark Ages was a time when there was minimum of knowledge on the Earth. Play in an era where the available knowledge nearly rivaled ours."
(portrait of Plato and Aristotle.)

What do you think?

Solgan 1: Ok.

Slogan 2: Hercules would be hard to recognize.

Slogan 3: Annoyed me since it perpetuates the cliché that the "Dark Ages" were an age of barbarism. People were not that stupid then either and much knowledge simply has been lost.

1. Slightly hungry

2. Confused, since I had to look up 'villeinage'

3. Sleepy

Are these signs like things you are going to carry while using a bullhorn and standing on a street corner

or is this more for like a billboard or online advertising campaign

Something like an advertisement.
