Local Play

I'm looking for a group to join. I've never played in organized play before. The only "local" group I have found is about an hour away at a time I can't join. I would really like to join in the fun.

I'm trying to get PFS started at Games and Gizmos in Redmond, our first game is tomorrow night at 6:30. Hoping that Fridays at 6:30pm will be our consistant day and time. I'm sure our local venture captain will stop by with more information for the area soon.

I've mentioned it before, but I'm happy to point it out again, you can find more info and more groups at groups.google.com/group/seattle-pathfinder-society

There are always more groups popping up, as well! We have groups at Olympic Cards and Comics in Lacey, Fantasium in Federal Way, Games and Gizmos in Redmond (of course, and thank you Joshua for taking charge there), and the D20 Store in Burien/Normandy Park. I'm also hoping to get another group started up at the Dragon's Lair in Bellevue, as well as groups at Uncle's and Card Kingdom soon, so stay tuned, and if you have any questions feel free to contact me at SeattlePFS@gmail.com

Welcome to the Emerald City Lodge :)

Unfortunately that is the exact game I was mentioning that I can't get to. I live in Shoreline and work until 7pm on Fridays. This was the only place that popped up with a search here. Thank you for the invite. I appreciate it.

That's right in our neck of the woods, Joshua. What are you planning on running tomorrow night?

Welcome to the Emerald City Lodge :)

I need something further north. I live in Shoreline and work in Lynnwood.

I shot you an email yesterday. I figured you'd get back to me when you have time. I assume tha you work outside of this so I didn't want to send another yet.

I'm going to be running #2-01 Before the Dawn—Part I: The Bloodcove Disguise.

Can I look forward to having some of the Paizo employees stop by? Would make for a very interesting first time GMing a PFS module.

Disappointing that you can't make the game Bob_Loblaw. Hope you find one closer to you.

Hmm...not sure how that e-mail slipped under my radar, but I see it now.

I know we don't have anything up that way yet, but I'm sure something can be set up. I'll shoot you an e-mail to go over options.

Good luck today, Joshua. I work late tonight, so showing up this week is out of the question for me. How often do you plan on running sessions? Regardless, I'll try to swing by the next one and introduce myself. I'd met the person running the previous games there on Fridays, but I guess all that fell apart. Regardless, best of luck, and have fun :)

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'll try to swing by for a bit after work, but can't promise a specific time, or even if I'll be out of here before you folks are done with the game. If no one from Paizo makes it this time, however, we'll try to plan farther ahead to make an appearance at a future event.*

* The same goes for any local event; we're happy to have Paizo employees stop by as time and availability allow.

Planning on weekly, we'll see what happens though. Don't know what happened to the last guy, he had a signup sheet @ the store, I had put my name on it but after a month of not getting an email I volunteered to pick it up and here we are.

Look forward to seeing some of the Paizo employees from time to time Mark.

I appreciate that very much.

Joshua, what are you doing the 12-14 of August?

Would you like to GM some Pathfinder Society at Dragonflight in Bellevue?

I'm still fairly new to being a GM, and I'll have to talk to the work and the GF to see if I've already got anything planned. If I don't and you don't mind a fairly inexperenced GM it would probably be quite a bit of fun.

I don't have a problem with inexperienced GM's -- enthusiasm counts.

I stopped by the store around 9:15 last night and there was no Pathfinder Society being played. The store owner mentioned there had been a group there up until about an hour earlier. I assume you either had a TPK and thus ended early, or didn't get enough people to play?

2/5

Sadly only 1 player showed up on Friday to play, Not unexpected really I obviously didn't have enough lead up time for people to know it was going to happen. I've talked to 2-3 other players since and the 1 who should up friday said he'd talk to 2-3 more so it sounds like I will hopefully have a fairly full table next week.

Disappointed we missed you Mark. Would have been nice to chat with you.

I'll send you an email probably tomorrow Thelesuit.

Joshua

I'm going to assume there isn't anything in the north end. If anything changes, let me know

Let me know if you are still interested Joshua and I will add you to the GM list (also send me an e-mail off list to confirm).

Thanks.

As a follow-up to PAX we need a couple of GM's to assist with running tables this Friday (8/2) and next Friday (8/9) at Games & Gizmos in Redmond at 6pm.

If you can spare the time and energy, please respond to this thread.

We had 13 players show up last Friday and expect many, many more this Friday.

Please, ohh Please, ohh Please!

I was barely able to handle the extra influx of players last week (I had 4 new).

Joshua,
Come onby the store this week while Im around. We are expanding Pathfinder Society out more if you haven't already heard from Evan.

Tim,

I'd love to get in on talking about expanding PFS at the store. What times will you be around? Perhaps we can figure out a time where all three of us can meet.

I am there every day until 4 pm, Chris also knows of the post PAX plans, I had been talking to him about them as well.

Just to keep folks apprised of the developing situation...

We are now running PFS at the following locations and times:

The Dreaming in the U-District, Thursday evenings @ 6pm
Card Kingdom in Ballard, Thursday evenings @ 6pm
Games & Gizmos in Redmond, Friday evenings @ 6:30pm
Games & Gizmos in Redmond, Saturday evenings @ 5:30pm
Games & Gizmos in Redmond, 2nd Saturdays @ 11am
Uncle's Games in Redmond, Sunday afernoons @ 1pm

We are still looking to get a regular schedule for games at D20 in Burien, and looking to expand to Dragonslaire in Bellevue.

We are also looking to start up games at the AFK Tavern in Everett on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings.

If one you are interested in playing or GM'ing, please let me know.

CJ
Seattle VC

I'm definitely still interested. Ballard is currently an option for me, but AFK is a longer drive. Anything possibly at The Comic Stop in Lynnwood or Gary's Games on Greenwood?
