Str: 13 (I have a strength that quickly sharpens up with minimal training, and in moments of need, the response people give back is often: "You're scary strong.")
Dex: 15 (While I have difficulty with juggling and dancing in particular, I have the fastest reflexes and twitch responses out of anyone I know. marksmanship is untested, but my throwing is pretty good. I can also catch myself from falling and tripping 999 times out of 1000, as in the past 5+ years I've fallen to the ground twice, but slipped and caught myself on ice, or broken ground countless times. It goes so far as to readjusting my feet positions during a trip, an instant after the stumble, to end the fall as a skip.)
Con: 9 (My cardio is definitely not good. While I get sick very rarely, possible from sterile environments rather then bodily fortitude, once I am sick I am very slow to recover, and cuts and bruises take forever to heal.)
Int: 12 (Languages are not my specialty; but the one I do command is extensive. I'm also prone to trying to understand and learn every aspect of anything, with questions constantly coming to find to fill out of the information of any topic. I've also qualified for reading awards since a young age, and have been praised for writing in a manner that captures the human condition.)
Wis: 10 (I'm a typically distracted person. I may even consider this an 8 or 9, but my ability to see and express the route of a social problem makes me question it. Maybe it's Skill Focus: Sense Motive, maybe philosophical thought should actually be Int, but I'll call it 10 for mixed performances.)
Cha: 12 (I start off shy with people, but before long I come out as a quick witted, funny person. My way of being with people makes extremely few enemies; the only people who even go so far as to be Indifferent to me are people who seem to have something against me personally (Such as hating gingers, English people in Quebec, or someone with bad eye sight.)
It's also been said that my anger when roused is like the abominable snow man: Rarely seen, but legendary, and terrifying.)
As for class, I've thought of two variants; one magical, and one not.
For non-magic, definitely Swashbuckler; the combination of social skills, and dexterous fighting matchs me to a Tee. I'd throw in some traits to also gain Knowledge: Planes, and Knowledge: Religion as class skills.
For Magical, with no ultimately exceptional mental abilities scores a 6th level caster makes more sense; with absolute deditation, my mind could expand to reach the top tiers of my possible power. I'd have to say Bard; My urge to help, and see others succeed, as well as a flair for the dramatic make it so. Coincidentally, I also have an uncatalogued reservoir of tidbit facts. My catchphrase for the group is "Bardic Knowledge; it's what I do."

Str. 7 (Extremely thin and out of shape)
Dex. 10 (nothing special)
Con. 8 (Getting sick quite easily and I can't imagine my self taking a punch without passing out)
Int. 11 ( Although an avid reader with quick wits and imagination, I am really weak in learning new stuff in ways I don't find ideal. Exceptional survivalist and cunning when problems arise, yet too dumb to come up with a solid plan. I rely mostly on my guts to figure something out)
Wis. 15 (Able to understand rather good other people and their drives, most of my friends turn to me when they seek guidance or advice about serious matters. When it comes to stuff about my self my wisdom quickly drops to 10 as I am a notorious bad-decision maker)
Cha. 8 (Although likeable by most people for my quirkiness and bizarre attitude, I often come across as distant and rude. I have been (jokingly) accused by my circles as being too forward and inappropriate with strangers and too harsh and robotic with my closer friends)
Class: 3.5 druid? :(

I posted mine as:
Strength 11
Dexterity 9
Constitution 17
Intelligence 17
Wisdom 13
Charisma 13
Now that being said- when I was younger, my STR would be like 17- I was able to bench press more than my own body weight. Maybe that's a 16?
Dex? Well, I am a klutz. I trip once in a awhile, and my sense of balance is poor. OTOH, I am a excellent shot and can even pick a lock. My agility is low but my aim and manual dexterity is high.
IQ is 145.
Now that I am older, I can claim some wisdom.
CHA? I am persuasive and a leader. But am of average looks.

I would say that i have always been health, and am very perceptive of my surroundings. While knowing what i want.
Average str, and dexterity.
Not much of a talker and have a bad memory, while at the same time very intelligence and like math, which averages out.

Con: 15
Int: 11

Not going to post my scores because outside of "carrying capacity" you really only have vague 10/11 is human average and after that everyone's different. One person may treat an 18 as Olympic level. A 16 as national level, a 14 as state level and a 12 as local level ranges of ability. Someone else however may treat a 18 as legendary Conan the barbarian levels of strength, a 16 as Olympic level clean and jerk which means that right there you have conflict as 16 means different things to the two of them.
Anyway what I wanted to say is that to me there's two types of intelligence there's the I find it easy to understand complex theories and learn new information type but there's also the I can come up with something new type. The difference between I invented the first computer and I learnt how to use your computer in a reaction of the time anyone else did. Someone of the first type might easily master a dozen different fields but not be able to take that step beyond to envision something that doesn't exist yet.

Yeah human beings can't be defined by silly game stats. Even scores that have a definitive comparison (Str) are NOT set in stone for humans. In a time of crisis we can be much stronger than we normally are. But it can fluctuate based on everything from your mood to the colors you were just looking at. (I am referring to that study where weight lifters had difficulty lifting even their usual weights after staring at a pink card.)
Still in the spirit of silly fun I shall make a 10 pb parody of me;
Aranna the ??? so many real versions of me I could parody...
Str 10 (I am athletic but don't use strength for anything in my life)
Dex 13 (I was recognized for tennis and marksmanship both dex based IRL)
Con 10 (I ran out of points or this would be higher)
Int 15 (low 140s IQ [human +2 bonus])
Wis 12 (I notice stuff others miss, and I am full of wise advice)
Cha 12 (I am well liked, attractive, and tend to be noticed in a crowd)
Class? Something arcane but not normal because I am never normal... Maybe something that can do trick shots with ray spells? Because it sounds cool and who wouldn't use magic if it was as real as the game?

Just to have fun and going with a vague idea of myself, using 10 point buy:
Str 11 (I'm not weak, but I'm not buff either)
Dex 8 (I am pretty clumsy)
Con 8 (I've spent most of my life being sickly)
Int 14 (I'm a scientist with a high IQ, so there's gotta be some smarts in here somewhere)
Wis 16 (This is where I shine)
Cha 13 (I'm a likeable guy and possess some leadership skills)
| Divinitus |
Time to break out the beyond-heroic stat array! I hope that I don't come across as being a huge d*** when listing these, but I offer reasonable explanations for why I view myself as having each stat at the respective level.
STR 12: I'm about as strong as any 6'4" male that has broad shoulders and is overweight, which is to say, slightly above average.
DEX 16: Oddly enough, I'm a dextrous person. I have really good reflexes, am good at tinkering with mechanical things, and, according to one of my buddy's that was in the Marines, have a good enough marksmanship where I could have qualified as a sniper.
CON 12: I'm chunky, so I have extra HP! Probably NOT making any good CON checks, apart from saves vs. Disease and Poison though (I can drink nearly anyone under the table and only get sick about once every other year with a minor cold or stomach virus!).
INT 18: I have a 189 IQ and, in college, proposed several ideas for scientific innovations that were eventually proven by other people, include things regarding neurogenesis/neural plasticity, robotics, and a few other things. Oddly enough, I never really viewed myself as being any more intelligent than anyone else until high school, at which point I kind of had the realization. I don't think that it makes me better than anyone else, obviously, but I do acknowledge that there is quite quite a bit of variance in human intelligence and am okay with that fact.
WIS 09 or 18: Well, this is an odd stat for me. On the one hand, I give excellent advice (My cellphone is often inundated with my numerous friends and associates texting me for advice!), I'm strong-willed, and very perceptive (Unless I'm sleepy!). On the other hand, I have made some pretty foolish decisions in my lifetime, like turning down a job offer that had a $100,000+ paygrade with full benefits so that I could pursue Psychology as a career. I also have a -30 to Will saves versus telling women no if they bat their eyelashes at me and make a reasonable request.
CHA 16: I'm usually the life of the party and I often get inundated with people wanting to talk to me at social functions. I have been told that I am a natural orator, a skilled thespian, and am quite persuasive. Still, I think giving myself an 18 CHA is out of the question, because that's what I envision people like Mahatma Gandi, Martin Luther King Jr., Helen of Troy, Charlemagne the Frank, and, on the darker side of the spectrum, Adolf Hitler, as possessing. I don't think I'm quite there yet, despite how much people heap praise on me and fawn over me (Which makes me slightly uncomfortable at times, because I feel like people that are just as worthy of attention are often overlooked!).
As far as my class in real life, I would say that it is a tie between Alchemist, Bard, Cleric, Investigator, and Wizard. Alchemist has merit due to the focus on intelligence and the equivalent of a scientist in Pathfinder, assuming that 3PP is not allowed. Being a Bard also has merit, because I'm a very social, very extroverted person, I have a wide range of skills, AND I have an ear for music (Classical, opera, orchestral, rock, metal, techno, and choral!). Cleric could also be a good pick, because I'm a deeply religious person, though not one of the zealous bigot types. Investigator is also solid because I once helped someone with some P.I. (Private investigation) work and obviously have a high level of intelligence and perception. And Wizard fits, of course, because I like books a lot and if there was such a thing as magic, I would almost assuredly want to learn it, because ULTIMATE COSMIC POWER!!!

Str: 14. Even guys who hit the gym consistantly or do difficult manual labor for a living are shocked at some of my strength... Mesomorph. Picked up the front end of a pontiac grand prix like a wheel barrow using nothing but a ratcheting tiedown strap over my shoulders.
Dex: 15. An accomplished juggler. Excellent reflexes and a natural at the shooting range. Was a lot worse when I was younger. I was a falling down the stairs kinda kid.
Con: 7. I'm a pretty heavy old dude anymore. My feet hurt just strolling around a grocery store for an hour. Probably would take me 2 hours to walk 2 miles and I'd be miserable at the end of it.
Int: 17. INTP and Professionally conducted IQ tests. Bit of a polyglot and pick up on the subtle nuances of both physical skills and mental skills pretty easily.
Wis: 8. On the one hand I'm pretty sure I know what the right thing to do would be almost every time... On the other hand I seem to choose the wrong thing like... most of the time. My sense of adhering to my principles has been a detriment to my overall success and happiness and sociability.
Cha: 14. I'm definitely not easy on the eyes. I do on the other hand have an unmistakable aura of 'clout or gravitas or presence' and can grab attention quite easily... There is an unmistakable sense, in a room, when 'I Have Arrived'... On the other hand I wouldnt say the end result of having done so would result in 'people liking me'.
I've got kind of an uncanny valley in terms of my charisma over time... The immediate impression is usually whoa... who the hell is that... I don't think he's someone I'd want to talk to. He seems scary and angry. Then they get to know me and find me far less scary and angry than they expected so its like ah... no... he's actually pretty cool... But the more you get to know me the more you sort of get back to that point of... What a machiavellian sociopath he is...
I've got this judge dredd face that hides my big lebowski personality
And I've got this big lebowski personality that hides the cold manic bastard underneath.
I'm like an onion.. I have layers.
| PIXIE DUST |
Str: 7... between size penalties and being twiggy...
Dex: 16, yay for gymnastics
Con: 10.... nothing special here...
Int: a solid 16-18 for sure... have yet to meet a person I could not keep up with intellectually
Wis: 8... im clueless... a lot...
Cha: 20. For sure :P. +5 circumstance bonus when Chibi Cosplay xD
So... IM A BARD! XD

You guys must have missed the part of the challenge where you are restricted to a 10 point buy.
There are a large number of people for whom ten points does not permit them to be built accurately.
You couldn't put 1976-era Bruce Jenner into 10 points, for example. As an Olympic decathlete (and gold-medal winner), his physical stats were simply phenomenal -- and I've also seen interviews of him. While I can't speak to his wisdom and charisma are both extremely high.
If I assume that he tanked his Wisdom to 7 (the maximum permitted) and took the Dual-Talented attribute to raise two stats, but ended up with 14s across the board, that's still 15 points. I think Mr. Jenner has (had, I should say -- it's no longer 1976) physical stats much better than 14s.
And this community seems to skew high for intelligence. Using the 3d6 distribution, anyone with an intelligence score of 17 or better is Mensa-qualified (and has an IQ of at least 130) and vice versa. There seem to be a lot of those people on this thread, and so that's spending at least 7 points on intelligence along (+2 for being human). I can't imagine that everyone on this thread is also a sickly, drug-addicted Tourette's patient to balance in order to get those points back.

Huh?
There is no set of D&D stats that can accurately represent ANY real person. No the OP wanted to see what we would set ourselves at if we had a 10 point buy.| Coltron |

As far as class, I would have to say archer fighter or ranger. As I am an archer(recurve) in real life and have won more than a few competitions on the local level. May seem counter intiutive due to my low dex but I practice everyday so I figure I have weapon focus and spec.
Too many people are giving themselves crazy stats. Half of the people here think themselves as supermen. This is why I don't ever play with people in games where they stat themselves. Delusional people everywhere.

Str 10 - average is hard to judge without seeing a lot of effort. I'm stronger than a lot of people I know (mostly women) and weaker than a lot of people I know (mostly guys). I used to be in better shape but got lazy (lazier, I guess)
Dex 10 - I guess. Again, hard to tell. I feel as though I'm about average without having made any proper study of it
Con - 10 hardly get sick beyond a light cold every now and then, and can keep up gentle movement forever but I have no endurance if I start breathing heavily
Int - 12. I generally found most academic pursuits if not easy then overcomeable, so long as they didn't involved math. If I put effort into things (a rare occurrence) I would do as well as almost anyone on tests and could generally do fairly well with little to no work. Math I needed to work on but never did so I didn't do too well there.
Wis 9. I can get distracted and caught up in my own little world, and I don't think things through as well as I should
Cha 9. I'm tempted to put it at 5 or 6 but I have to be a bit honest. I guess I'm likeable enough but often feel as though I either am too grim and reticent or try too hard to go the other way and end up being overbearing and noisy.

What are your ability scores using a standard d20 ability score array?
It is honestly a fun exercise that groups I have been in have used to start games. I have tried assigning the scores by my own reasoning and having them assigned by averages of what the other people at the table would assign me, the second only really works if you are close to your gaming buddies.
I'm sure many of you have tried this before, "What would my stats be as a D&D character?", and a few have probably have had a crazy enough GM to try a "Play as yourself" campaign. The fun part for me was not actually playing myself but, in trying to play the version of myself that developed in the game.
What would have to change about my life and my personality to make me an adventurer? So to get this started I've listed what I see as my ability scores below. I used a 10-point buy to keep things honest and I suggest others do the same. I'd be happy to back up any of the below by my own reasoning if anyone needs a point of reference. I included a human racial bonus in parenthesis as the focus of my personality but, your mileage may vary with that choice.
STR: 12
DEX: 10
CON: 10
INT: 13
WIS: 12
CHA: 13 (15)Go ahead, see what you come up with?
Also, What class do you see as fitting your adventurer self?
Fighter (with polearms or rapier) or monk.
STR: 15 (heavyweight, can break bone with a good left hook)
DEX: 14 (fencer, won some competitions, can dodge)
CON: 14 (fit, can take a bit of damage and have very good health and an active lifestyle)
INT: 14 (there are a lot of skills and areas of study on which I tutor)
WIS: 12 (harder to gauge, studies some sources of wisdom from multiple cultures)
CHA: 10 (sometimes social interactions go the way I want, some days they don't but I do teach for a living and do well, but I think that is more a skill rather than an ability)
Feats: dodge, improved feint, power attack, taunt (apparently I need a higher charisma for this?), skill focus: tuition.
Have actually played myself in a zombie outbreak at my old uni scenario. It wasn't Pathfinder it was all flesh. I am not a combat wombat exactly, and kickboxing and fencing isn't suitable for facing the flesh-eating dead, so I kept out of danger and played it safe, bit of skirmishing and helping others, pissing on the dead from behind a fence, keeping us going with humour. Managed to survive.
