Wow, I guess I need to check out L5R4 then. :)
I will have to as well, though I hate Shawn Carman. Nothing against the man personally, and perhaps I'm unjustly dumping my dislike of the inevitable shift from the kami-centric storyline (Clan Wars) to the people-driven storyline of today.

I prefer skill systems to class systems but there is so much variety in the class based games that the line can blur sometimes.
-PATHFINDER! (high levels are pretty nuts- so really high fantasy no matter how you try. Sometimes that is super fun though!)
-World of Darkness/Hunter (if I could find anyone to play!)
-Cerulean Seas (It is Pathfinder essentially. You still use your Pathfinder books, but this changes a few classes like druids to fit its setting, that of a world 99% covered by water. New races like mermaids, etc.. Very cool)
-Buffy/Angel (the dramatic Unisystem). This list isn't in order, & this isn't meant to rank above much, but I just love how streamlined the rules are.
I'm loving this thread because I'm seeing sooo many games I want to try. Basic Roleplaying, Call of Cthulu, Savage Worlds, etc etc..
I love the roleplaying aspect over the Munchkin/boardgame things.
