Children's tale of the high seas

Books

Does anybody know any good children's books about adventures on the high seas? I mean to say, besides the well-known classics like Treasure Island.

Sovereign Court

Why only the best children's books of all time: Swallows and Amazons (by Arthur Ransome) and all the other books in that series. In particular, We didn't mean to go to sea, Peter Duck, Missie Lee and Great Northern involve the sea. All the books are about sailing.

Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Many of the books in the Mossflower / Redwall series involve the sea / pirate rats.

Swallows and Amazons looks cool. Thanks!

Joan Aiken's Nightbirds on Nantucket is a good one. It's part of a longer series but is the one I started with and has a very good adventure on a whaling ship.

Sid Fleishman also has one with pirates, Ghost in the Noonday Sun, which is fun.
