Also, I've been checking FAWTL in-between a lengthy annual inspection with the fire marshal (who looks a bit like Freehold but taller and clearly works out a lot), and cleaning out the school attic and hauling boxes down a flight of stairs to the dumpster and moving shelving units *up* the stairs. So I'm sure I am behind on my internet frivolity
He's from West Virginia and deeply conservative.
You were saying?
He's..all the evil clone...I could be?

Way to eschew regional and gender stereotypes.
My favorite quote is when the General's mom called to see if the surgery was successful and he said he didn't go, and her mom asked if that was wise and he said "it's not as purple today as it was"
What the f$~*.
And he's been in a unionized industry his entire career, so it's not like he has s#$#ty insurance.
If he loses the hand, it's his own fault. Don't want to hear him crying about it. F~*#ing idiot.

I swear I'd march to his house with a big stick, knock him over the head and cart him to the doctor. Some people need to be saved from themselves.

Up north, I'm not a biker, mechanic, or electrician, so that's all I'm privy to.

It's just that I still have a few very good, large and scary-looking friends up north, somewhat chaotic in alignment...

All right. Lets start the kidnapping squad =)
Anyway for anyone playing improbable island: When you save up to 1000 requisitions - head to improbable central, which is out of newhome, North east. Try do the travel at level 2/3 so at least you can run away from fights better. Go there, and go to mercenary camp and hire Caroline the Speed Medic. Really saves you reqs on healing and fights better then you do too.

Our navigator's very first skill check to plot a hyperjump: massive failure. The d% roll to determine the consequences?? 100. Fabulous opportunity for evil-GM-shenanigans!!
But, as spectacular as it would be to have the hyperdrive melt its way through the ship's hull while still in atmo, I had to find a hand-wavy correction that was still plausible.
. . . .
I'm sure I'll blow 'em up sometime.
if its good enough for macross its good enough for the party

There's something wrong with my phone. I need to take it to be fixed tomorrow. Worst case I may be without phone for a week.
I'm always entertained that I'm on Global Megacorporation's corporate plan with 4 phones and an iPad attached, which means that every single year Verizon sends me an, "Oh, gods, please! Upgrade your antique phone to something so we don't have to support that old hardware any more! PLEAAAAASE!"
And Impus Major and I continue to use our flip phones and giggle.
But yeah, whenever Impus Minor or NobodysWife have phone issues with their iPhones, it's cheaper to upgrade than to fix them.
And then we get the truly entertaining emails. "No! That wasn't the one we wanted you to upgrade! Aaaaaaaaargh!"

Eh, I don't have a phone plan. I pay 50 zloty (ca. $14) every few months - around five at the moment as I spend 8 zloty per month on internet (1 GB mobile) and the rest on messages... I bought phone once in my life, it served well but I had to replace it last year. Previous phones I got from grandfather or friends, and the current not-so-smart-phone I got from a friend too. I admit that having google and wiki in your pocket is useful, for killing time while reading wiki if nothing else.
