What was made can be unmade.
What was done can be undone.
What was begun can be ended.
What was created can be destroyed.
What was memorized can be forgotten.

Ok, now I am sounding a bit dark. Maybe I should design a villain or two?

This actually reminds me of a villain from one of my old stories. He was a void/abyss based character. "That which is not, cannot be destroyed!"

Busy weekend for Tordek - purchased my GenCon ticket today - Tuesday I jump into the mad rush for housing. We want to stay near the convetion center this time.

Saturday night was our first session of RotRL since the beginning of December. Getting closer and closer to the end of the campaign. What's cool is that we are already planning to follow up this campaign with Shattered Star. One my players will be taking over the GM reins.

Finally bought a tablet as a belated Christmas gift. Went with the Android based ASUS TF300. Finally, something that I can read PDFs on. I just can't get use to all of the scrolling on other devices.

Good season premier I gather?
OH no, I'm saving myself for when the last season is out on DVD. I'm still DEVOURING the series I got from my mom for my birthday/Christmas. She got me everything up until this seasons premier. First season is still the best, so sorry to have lost the main actor to cancer. Forget the action, the man was an AMAZING actor. His scenes with Batiatus are EXCELLENT.

I think I'm going to wait a while for the next season too.

I found this to be a compelling tale of sex, violence, chattel slavery, and vengeance.

Chicken + Rice + Curry = Good food.

Good morning Icy!

A combination of city communication tickets' price, cold weather and persistent cough made me more no-lifeish this January than usual. Walking one or two hours in -5 degree Celsius is no fun when you try to cough your lungs afterwards and paying one-third of the weekly Drejk's feeding fund to avoid traveling by foot means a third of food less.

:(

How are things in Finland?

Snowing again, pretty cold for now.

Work's been normal as well, typical "late" shift.

How are things over there, then?

Cool.

I wish we would gets lots more snow on the east of the rockies. The west side is catching lots, but our climate is moderate and dry.

Well I hope things start to look up for everyone.

Aaaaagh!

So kidlet has no school today due to the roads resembling an ice rink. But my school is still open and I have a long day of classes. :(

Good morning to all you FAWTLY Folk out there in this lovely world! BOOYAH! It's a beautiful day, even if the weather sucks major ass.

And, yes. The weather does indeed suck major ass this morning. Luckily, however, the wife and I got to work before the major portions of suckitude started.

Cold again, but getting warmer. It started snowing just as I was parking in the lot out back. Supposed to change over to rain at some point. In between will be that really crappy and dangerous wintry mix.

Scarab Sages

But they're saying by tomorrow we'll have a high in the 50s, and by Wednesday it'll be in the 60s. Then back to cold, but not as bad as last week.

Scarab Sages

Also, the boy's diaper leaked while we were sitting on the sofa watching TV this morning. Just pee, but still. The damn diaper was bone dry when I got him out of bed this morning! Little turd.

Scarab Sages

But that doesn't matter! I'm still in a good mood. Not sure why, but I am!

Temperature went up by 6 or 8 degrees Celsius. Now snow is slowly melting into unpleasant goo and moisture in the air makes the chill more pronounced.

Scarab Sages

What a day this has been
What a rare mood I'm in
Why it's almost like being in love
There's a smile on my face
For the whole human race
Why it's almost like being in love

All the music of life seems to be
Like a bell that is ringing for me

And from the way that I feel
When the bell starts to peel
I would swear I was falling,
I could swear I was falling-
It's almost like being in love

Scarab Sages

Pardon me. Had to go make more coffee.

Scarab Sages

And refill my cup with the dregs of the previous pot.

Since we got our new computer, I've been playing Diablo II again. I love the game. I went through first as a Necromancer. Now I'm making my way through as a Paladin. Next I'll probably do a Barbarian.

Scarab Sages

I think I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of it.

Scarab Sages

Still haven't played Diablo III yet. Not sure if I want to. I don't think I like the idea of having to create a Battlenet account just to play the game.

Scarab Sages

Still, that one has a monk......

Scarab Sages

Gotta go hit a few other threads for a bit.

Got a new microwave over the weekend. The button to open the door was starting to give out on the old one. The new one is stainless steel, to match some of our other appliances.

Scarab Sages

The whole microwave thing takes me back though. My folks got their first microwave when I was a kid. Clunky thing by today's standards. Flip dial timer (like the old clocks), and a handle to open and close it, not a button. But that thing was one tough appliance.

Eventually the handle broke off and we had to use a screw driver to open and close it. At one point we moved it to the small summer home we had in Bay St. Louis, MS. It stayed there for years (until we sold the place), then my brother took it to his hunting camp in south Louisiana. That place got taken out by a hurricane. The microwave is probably sitting on the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico even as we speak.

Hmmm....PMG is correct. This is becoming more like a chat room.

This is me, doing my part to get us to 100,000.

All right, though. I should go and be somewhat productive.

591 new posts?

Nu-hu. Nope. Not reading them. I'll just asume you guys were talking about Batman the whole time.

Because, come on, it's Batman.

I wouldn't object to 600 posts about Batman. So long as it wasn't 600 posts of "what alignment is Batman?" because that's not fun.

Batman is overrated.

COME AT ME, BRO!!

Oh a debate, jolly good! We've missed so many of those since our wielder just started hiding all the delightful argument threads.

Bane knows Batman's alignment.

His spinal alignment.
