What was made can be unmade.
What was done can be undone.
What was begun can be ended.
What was created can be destroyed.
What was memorized can be forgotten.Ok, now I am sounding a bit dark. Maybe I should design a villain or two?
This actually reminds me of a villain from one of my old stories. He was a void/abyss based character. "That which is not, cannot be destroyed!"

Busy weekend for Tordek - purchased my GenCon ticket today - Tuesday I jump into the mad rush for housing. We want to stay near the convetion center this time.
Saturday night was our first session of RotRL since the beginning of December. Getting closer and closer to the end of the campaign. What's cool is that we are already planning to follow up this campaign with Shattered Star. One my players will be taking over the GM reins.
Finally bought a tablet as a belated Christmas gift. Went with the Android based ASUS TF300. Finally, something that I can read PDFs on. I just can't get use to all of the scrolling on other devices.

She got me everything up until this seasons premier. First season is still the best, so sorry to have lost the main actor to cancer. Forget the action, the man was an AMAZING actor. His scenes with Batiatus are EXCELLENT.Freehold DM wrote:I freaking LOVE SPARTACUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Good season premier I gather?
I think I'm going to wait a while for the next season too.
I found this to be a compelling tale of sex, violence, chattel slavery, and vengeance.

A combination of city communication tickets' price, cold weather and persistent cough made me more no-lifeish this January than usual. Walking one or two hours in -5 degree Celsius is no fun when you try to cough your lungs afterwards and paying one-third of the weekly Drejk's feeding fund to avoid traveling by foot means a third of food less.
:(

And, yes. The weather does indeed suck major ass this morning. Luckily, however, the wife and I got to work before the major portions of suckitude started.
Cold again, but getting warmer. It started snowing just as I was parking in the lot out back. Supposed to change over to rain at some point. In between will be that really crappy and dangerous wintry mix.

What a day this has been
What a rare mood I'm in
Why it's almost like being in love
There's a smile on my face
For the whole human race
Why it's almost like being in love
All the music of life seems to be
Like a bell that is ringing for me
And from the way that I feel
When the bell starts to peel
I would swear I was falling,
I could swear I was falling-
It's almost like being in love

The whole microwave thing takes me back though. My folks got their first microwave when I was a kid. Clunky thing by today's standards. Flip dial timer (like the old clocks), and a handle to open and close it, not a button. But that thing was one tough appliance.
Eventually the handle broke off and we had to use a screw driver to open and close it. At one point we moved it to the small summer home we had in Bay St. Louis, MS. It stayed there for years (until we sold the place), then my brother took it to his hunting camp in south Louisiana. That place got taken out by a hurricane. The microwave is probably sitting on the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico even as we speak.
