I just learned that there will be gaming convention on autumn here in Kraków... And it will be in school 15 minutes from me. On foot.
I've never been naked on convention before.
Damn, that bandit's sausage is spicy!

Or is that my tongue and throat overreacting due to inflammation?
I hope tomorrow will be like today when it comes to weather. I have appointment to receive my late birthday present. The aforementioned visit to sushi restaurant.
Unless my throat vetoes leaving house or enjoying taste of sushi...

Been a quiet day, hopefully a good one though.
Is anyone else having problems with Gmail right now?
I had no problem accessing it, if that's what you were asking. Didn't try sending anything, though.
*sigh* Why my bank is so insistent on tying to give me a credit or a credit card when I have no job?
Drejk, well the banks are evil....
Though hope your day has been fine. And that everyones will be amazing. I've got my Cthulhu game tonight, will we survive & find my missing kiddies? Will I put on my disappointed, nagging wife act?
Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Thursday! And what beautiful weather we're having here in Philthadelphia! They kept calling for snow overnight, but that never happened. Now it's a bright, sunshiny day. High is supposed to be aroudn 47 degF.

Could winter have finally released us from its icy grip?
Double WOOT!!
And I did end up going to my game last night. Was worried about the weather, but that ended up moot.
Also, as my buddy warned me, GPS dropped me off about 100 yards shy of the DM's house. Luckily, all the mailboxes on the street are at the curb and have the house numbers.
My elf wizard almost got taken down! He stepped out from cover to help his party, noticed the evil duke's evil ranger henchman down aways, and let loose with an acid arrow. The dude returned the favor with his bow and dropped me down from 30 hp to 0 with 3 shots.
Lucky for me I was an elf - because he had human-bane weapons. Also, the paladin was nearby to slap me with a quick hit from the CLWs wand. Next round two of the party got up in the ranger's face and gutted him, but not before I was able to shoot him in the face with a magic missile.
All told, I did about 23 points of damage to his 30 - not bad.

Later, when we actually confronted the evil duke, the tag team party members (playing brothers) got on either side of him and put him beyond a world of hurt. The final blow was a sneak attack crit with a human bane hand axe.
But the duke's evil wizard henchman got away! Damnit! I wanted his stuff!!
And I was still able to get home and in bed before midnight! Huzzah!
Although Charlie was up at 0500, so I still only got about 5 hours of sleep. Coffee, don't fail me now!
With our impending desk move here at work, we're discussing new coffee machines this morning. Needless to say, I'm pushing for a Keurig.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....no snow last night....ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.....
All right folks. I think that's enough for now. Time to get busy with some stuff.

Then came that Thursday in February when I stepped into my psychiatrist's office and was presented with a goat.
/
I was in treatment, but it wasn't going well. I suffered from recursive treatment-resistant depression or, possibly, bipolar II disorder—my doctors wouldn't settle on a diagnosis. Whatever you called it, it was hell. Over the years, I had tried every combination of the usual substances: MAOIs, tricyclic and tetracyclic antidepressants, SSRIs and SNRIs, mood stabilizers and anti-anxiety medication. They mostly gave me side-effects. I was bloated and sweaty and twitchy, but still depressed. The doctors were trying to get me into ECT, but I was reluctant. This is where the goat came in.

Although I think I almost enjoyed the fact that the writer was a Swede writing in English overshadowed the story for me a bit at first - I'm not alone! And there are people ready to read your stuff even though you're not writing in your first language! YAY!

And I think that post is a sign it's about time I get some sleep.
Sleep is over rated.
Also...curry. Must have.
Just a few more days, buddy...

Well, Scott's moving plans were nearly disrupted when a freak mishap with a toaster oven nearly fried his office buidling's entire electrical system. Meanwhile, Jeffery's road odyssey nearly took a disasterous turn when he crossed paths with two rival biker gangs jousting on a lone stretch of interstate. And, across town, Gary's plan to win the Great Snowman Build of 2013 were dashed when....No, wait! That's my soap opera.
Also: Huzzah for another section completed.
