I say, "Now what would you say for they calling you a radical
Liberal, fanatical, criminal?"
Won't you sign up your name? We'd like to feel you're
Acceptable, respectable, presentable, a vegetable
Welcome to your life
There's no turning back
Even while we sleep
We will find you
Acting on your best behaviour
Turn your back on mother nature
Everybody wants to rule the world
Watching in a trance,
the crew is certain.
Nothing left to chance,
all is working.
Trying to relax
up in the capsule
"Send me up a drink."
jokes Major Tom.
The count goes on...
Too many shadows, whispering voices
Faces on posters, too many choices
If, when, why, what?
How much have you got?
Have you got it, do you get it, if so, how often?
And which do you choose, a hard or soft option?
Here i am in silence
looking round without a clue
I find myself along again
all alone with you...
I can see behind your eyes
the things that i don't know
So needless to say I'm odds and ends
But that's me, stumbling away
Slowly learning that life is O.K.
Say after me
It's no better to be safe than sorry.
At work yesterday, the movie The Black Hole came up in conversation. I argued it was a classic. My friend said it was a crap movie that was a failure for Disney. I didn't think to double check his statement until I got home. Turns out, the movie was profitable by about $9 Million.
So, this morning I was all set to rub his face in it, but he's not in yet! I'm guessing he's running late because it's "take your kid to work" day. At least I'm hoping so. I gotta rub his face in it.
I gotta say, when I was a kid and first started collecting comics, I never thought there'd come a time when so many kick ass comics-based movies would be coming out!
I swear, if I ever rule this world, the douchebags on those shows like Entertainment Tonight will be whipped through the streets, then forced to fight in gladiatorial combat against starving chihuahuas
