I have photographic evidence of the LPM that is more than just his Golem Tat. I have been warned of charges of Heresy, Treason, And Sedition if they are posted. Decisions, decisions.

AH Kansas, I get back and it is a nice rain free day. Trying to leave the Houston area and the rain was so bad that we missed the correct turn and started driving back to Houston on the highway. My worst nightmare was coming true.
Ok Not my worst, in my nightmares its my mental image of Jersey doing this to me, but still it was close.
Houston is nowhere near Jersey for "get me the hell out ta here" vibe

Ugh...I've been doing too much Pathfinder stuff, lately. I just read an e-mail at work that referenced "sheet metal" and my brain translate the phrase to "sky metal."

We had the Rain-pocalypse over here, (South Lousy-anna) almost 12 inches of rain in less than 12 hours.
Caused lots of problems.
LOTS, OF, PROBLEMS.
Spoiler:
12 midnight, pouring rain
7:10am take daughter to catch bus to school, pouring rain, she has 8th grade grad ceremony at 9
7:30am, take son to catch bus to school, Pouring rain
8am, bus still not there, pouring rain
tell kid I'll take him to school, car won't start,
I'll call mom, oh wait, left phone at home.
Walk home, with kid, in the pouring rain.
8:40am, pouring rain, get in wife's car to go to daughter's graduation
Get there, kids being let out, school and grad cancelled, pouring rain.
9:30am, wife has job interview on university campus, she cannot get out of neighborhood, pouring rain, (By this time the water is about an inch from my back door)
Wife calls, gets phone interview instead, half hour later, rain stops, roads clear. Of course.
11am, go get car, get new battery, get call from work, rain water on stage, (They are doing roof work on the building)
12 noon, clean up mess on stage, and rest of building, discover more leaks,....
Icing on cake? My $10K lighting console is sitting in a puddle.
I got a nice package with a bottle of a favorite beer (Schlappeseppel Specialitäts Bier) my favorite crisps (NicNacs) and a foto-collage of pics with me and the boy in a frame for my workdesk
then we go to a public Fathers Day Barbecue with my mum and her husband
I can't celebrate with my dad, he is on a guys trip to Hungary to the birthplace of his best friend and his two brothers in law (they go there from time to time)
It's never been something we celebrate in my family - and other than a few ads it's not really mentioned much in society at large that I've noticed - so I honestly don't know.

when is American (English, Polish,Swedish, Finnish, Chilean, Canadian, Irish) Fathers Day ?
My calendar says America celebrates it on the 15th.
Indeed, I'm hoping for something decent this year. I may have even accidentally left lists of various items I desire in strategic locations around the house.

I'm planning on heading home tomorrow at 0 dark thirty. I wish things were more settled with Dad's medical situation, but I'm between a rock and a hard place.

At least I should be home soon.
Y'all take care!
Have a safe trip. I hope for the best with your Dad.
Yesterday at the day job was awful. That place is becoming just a paycheck to me. Nothing I do is appreciated in the slightest, and a pair of micromanagers for supervisor and boss with different motivations and philosophies is the worst. I just applied for another job yesterday in my fury, only to discover that it was a job I had already applied for. Laughing at that took the sting away a little bit, but it was watching Godzilla last night and imagining the MUTOS were my boss and supervisor that did the trick. It also made me wonder where Jess Door was.
Yeah, as AZ said, today is slightly less suck-tastic.
Still raining, but NOT the Rain-pocalypse of yesterday.
Productivity?,... Still a little bit off. Working on it.
:)
Maybe after we go see daughter escape, I mean graduate, middle school today. :)
Yes, she managed to make it to high school.
NOW I just have to get her through 4 years of THAT.
<one day at a time, one day at a time,...> ;P
Celebrate the little victories.
FREE INTERNET DIGITAL CELEBRATION PIZZA FOR EVERYONE!
OK, they aren't cookies, but we work with what we have. :)
I have to take my car in on Saturday. Grrrr. The muffler is loose. I feel like they just did the muffler last summer. Here's hoping its under warranty, and that the final bill doesn't break the bank.
Also, thank you all again for the birthday well-wishes. It was a great day, apart from John's bike being stolen from our shed. (I've never known him to ride it, but it is the principle of the thing.)

I firmly believe bike thieves should be hung, just like horse thieves were.
