Mairk's position would carry more weight if he didn't insist on pronouncing "drow" incorrectly.

Anyway, then a few years back, Rice got into some big stink with Al Copeland, the owner of Popeyes Fried Chicken, because he bought a refurbished a building she liked and had written into one of the Lestat books. She acted like a f@&&ing child during the whole fiasco. I haven't read any of her stuff since.
Haven't read her stuff since Memnoch. She started getting way out there and all the ax grinding was getting metal shavings in my eye.

My wife did last year with an 8 month old.

I swore I'd never read one of those Vampire books ever again, and a buddy begged me years later to read Memnoch the Devil. I gotta say, it might be my favorite of the bunch. (And no, I'm not saying it's a classic. ;-) )
Long as you don't pronounce it 'Memnoch the de-val' Leafy ;)

Actually, she could very well allow it (she is very cool).....IF someone convinced her that those few days would be an excellent time for a visit from grandparent types.

How late are we talking?

I stressed to him the night before that BMW/Mercedes is very time sensitive, we MUST be removed from the interior of the building by 8:30am. The pay us $195/month to follow these instructions.

Diane is chronically late and it drives me out of my mind. Lots of my friends run late, but I tolerate it.
Tardiness in a professional setting is unacceptable!
I actually had to explain to an adult who came late to a job interview late why he...

I actually had to explain to an adult
46 minutes. And then stopped for coffee on the way to the termite job, so he was another 20 minutes late there. So.. 1 hour 6 minutes.
