everything.
So long as it is subbed.
More seriously, I have to check to see what is on funimation. They probably have Space Battleship Yamato, so please start there.

That was an interesting conversation I heard as a family walked through the lobby.
Daughter: "Mom, what floor are we on?"
Mom: ...
Daughter: "Mom, what floor?"
Mom: ...
Daughter: "Mom! What floor?!"
Mom: "Second floor. And don't yell at me."
Daughter: "I asked twice and you didn't answer."
Mom: "You must have been mumbling. I didn't hear anything."
Dad: "She wasn't mumbling. I heard her fine from way back here. When are you going to get your ears checked?"
Mom: "About the time you pull your head out of your ass."Then they got in the elevator, so I couldn't hear any more.
HILARIOUS.

I hope the weather stays nice. I need to lose weight. I'm up about 30lbs since last summer. Doc thinks it's a depakote side effect. I really wanna walk it off cause that stuff is actually helping with the whole bipolar thing.
In Florida I used to lose a lot of weight during the winter when I could go outside and walk around without wanting to murder the sun. Up here there's three tolerable seasons (and hills, and a beautiful bike path to the next town) so I feel optimistic that I can get back down to my target.
Soon we'll pull the bikes out of storage, once I can train my dog to heel properly. Don't want him yanking my bike suddenly by the leash because he sees a squirrel.
My brother gained weight in summer in US because he ate too much ice-cream. He lost that weight during winter after he stopped eating ice-cream because it was so cold.
VE – you do NOT need to go out to burn calories(if weather is an issue, or in my case being unable to get into a gym class). Turn on youtube, get Tae Bo by Billy Blanks up, and follow along. You’ll burn calories, don’t worry. Tae Bo is a lot less jumping then body combat, and alot easier to find free, full 1 hour workout sessions of.
but I cant ride my bike indoors.

Weekend was fairly good, had my little one Saturday/Sunday. We went to the park, ran around a bit, caught some Pokémon, then went back to the flat I'm staying at and he played some games on the Switch.
Also got in a Raid train in Pokémon Go on Sunday night, so that was fun, even caught a Legendary 'mon. :)
I'm jealous!

So I just got a free funimation subscription, aside from catching up on Attack on Titan and Overlord can anyone recommend a great anime that might be on there?
Looking at the list on their website, thoughts below:
- Ace Attorney - If you played/enjoyed the games, this will be a fun little revisit to an entertaining game. Otherwise, probably not worth a look.
- Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor - Fun show about a magical teacher who really doesn't want his job. Moderately good.
- Assassination Classroom - Very entertaining, and at times thought-provoking, show about a strange teacher and his class of, as the name suggest, assassins. Higher in terms of recommendations.
- Attack on Titan - You already mentioned this one, but damn it's good, right? :D
- Attack on Titan: Junior High - Little chibi animations based on the above. Fun and light hearted compared to the main series, but wouldn't make any sense without watching it first. :P
- Black Clover - Set in a fantasy world where magic is used in everyday tasks, our protagonist doesn't have an ounce of magic. Watch as he overcomes his challenges with pure stubbornness. :D Medium in terms of recommendation.
- Dagashi Kashi - Short, funny, slice of life about a Japanese candy store, its owner, and a hyperactive, candy obsessed visitor. Fun and silly. Medium rec, depending on what you're looking for.
- DARLING in the FRANXX - Studio Trigger anime about mecha, , their child pilots, and a post-apocalyptic world. Med rec.
- Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody - Isekai about a computer game programmer who finds himself in the most recent game he was programming. Med rec.
- Devil May Cry - Similar to Ace Attorney, if you enjoyed the games, this will be enhanced by the familiarity. Otherwise, there are better things to watch.
- D.Gray-man - One of the first big series I watched, I always enjoyed this series. Worth a watch if you've got spare time.
- Drifters - Isekai about famous individuals from history being pulled into a war between Gods. I enjoyed, a lot of others didn't. Medium rec.
- Fairy Tail - A very long anime (think Bleach/One Piece/Naruto in terms of sheer length) about a magical guild. I enjoyed it more at the start, and eventually stopped keeping up. If you've got time to kill though, it's okay.
- GOBLIN SLAYER - Dark as balls, but gods did I love this anime. 'bout a guy who really, really doesn't like Goblins. High rec.
- Grimgar, Ashes and Illusions - Isekai about a group of people findings themselves in a fantasy world, but with no solid memory of the world they came from. Harsh, but good. Med-High rec.
- How Not to Summon a Demon Lord - Isekai about a guy finding himself in a MMORPG's world, in his character's avatar. Think Overlord, but instead of going the evil route, it goes the ecchi-harem route. Freehold would probably love it, and I certainly enjoyed it. :P Med rec.
- In Another World With My Smartphone - Isekai about a guy finding himself in another world, with something of a power boost, and a mobile phone that still works and has access to Earth's internet. A lot more could have been done with this concept, and it's fairly high in terms of ecchi, but still enjoyable. Med rec.
- Interviews with Monster Girls - A cute slice-of-life about a teacher at a school where they recently got some monster-girl transfer students. Fun, cute, and a bit more friendly than some of the others of this list. :P Med rec.
- Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid - Kind of a reverse-isekai, our protagonist finds herself with a new maid, who also happens to be a dragon. Hilarity ensues. :P Definitely a fun anime, med-high rec from me.
- Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans - Haven't actually watched it, but it's Gundam. You can't go too far wrong.
- My Hero Academia - Excellent anime about a world where super powers are common, following a class of young heroes to be. High rec.
- Noragami - I can't really describe this without revealing too much plot. It's good, modern day with fantasy stuff. Med-high rec.
- Overlord - You mentioned it already, but a great example of the Isekai genre, with, sometimes, just a little too much evil for my taste.
- PSYCHO-PASS - Thought provoking and exciting anime about a world where your mood can be read by advanced technology, and people are policed based on their thoughts. Crime is next to non-existent, as criminals are arrested as soon as their mood predisposes them to crime. Think Minority Report, only done so much better. High rec.
- Rage of Bahamut: Genesis - Haven't actually watched this, but watched its prequel. A surprisingly entertaining fantasy anime about a bounty hunter and a girl with unusual powers. Med-High rec.
- Restaurant to Another World - An Isekai about a Japanese restaurant whose door opens to different places in a fantasy world, based on the time of day. Entertaining, and an advertisement for Japanese cooking. Med rec.
- Steins;Gate - It's hard to talk about this anime without revealing too much, but it's modern day and really damn good. High rec.
- That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime - Fantasy Isekai about a man whose dying thoughts act as a basis for his powers as he is reborn into another world. Very entertaining, high rec.
- The Devil is a Part-Timer! - Another reverse isekai about the Devil of a fantasy world finding himself on Earth. With no magic, he finds himself with little choice but to get a job to pay the bills, while he tries to figure out his next move. Med-high rec.
- The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. - Very short, entertaining anime about Saiki K, a teen with psychic powers, and why they're not as cracked up as they're made out to be. High rec, if you're looking for comedy.
- The Royal Tutor - Anime about a tutor brought in to teach a group of spoiled princes. Med-high rec.
- WorldEnd: What are you doing at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us? - Anime about the last human alive, hired to look after a warehouse of unusual super-weapons. Med rec.
Man, this list just grew and grew and grew. I didn't realise just how many anime I had watched recently came from Funimation.
Also, word to the wise, I'm totally biased when it comes to Isekai (character transported to another world), so take my recommendations on them with a grain of salt. :P

When I did drop him back, his Mom asked me to stay and talk for a bit. She's thinking of leaving the city we're currently based in, as the cost of living is too high. That leaves me with a lot to think about, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I moved to the city we're currently based in, so I'd be closer to them. If she moves again, should I follow? I've built up a career here, friends, I'm just not sure.

I mean it's simple mathematics. These figures are just pulled out of thin air so don't quote me for this.
Let's say that weed ruins the life in 1 out of 100 people.
Alcohol we say ruins the life in 1 out of 1000 people.
Even if alcohol had a lesser chance of ruining people's lives(which may/may not be true), if only 100 people take weed, but 10,000 people took alcohol, then only 1 persons life would be ruined by taking weed, but 10 lives would have been ruined by alcohol just because of the greater number of people taking the said drug.

Is she having problems supporting a child since she has to pay the living expenses(you're contributing, right?)
Also - on your son do you notice signs of abuse i.e cane marks/pinch marks on back, buttocks and less visible places? Does your kid look well or is he getting skinnier etc.
Did you manage to get some time with your son alone to try figure out what was wrong? I don't expect he will say bad things about her if she is present, though.
How far away is she moving and will weekend visits still be possible?
I don't think it's fair for you to keep moving to keep up with them, how many times have they moved so far?

"Catch 10 Ice-type Pokémon" gives a Kabuto encounter.
"Catch 10 Pokémon" field research gives Magikarps (or Houndoor). Don't forget the Pinaps for double candy!
"Use 10 Pinap berries" also gives a Magikarp encounter.
"Make 3 Great Throws" FR gives Hoenn fossil Pokemon (or Ghastly).
"7 Flying, Psychic, or Dark type Pokémon" gives an Anorith encounter.
"Win 5 Raids" or "Use an item to evolve a Pokémon" quest gives Aerodactyl.

I worked my tail off all weekend so the first *real* day of Spring Break (i.e. the first day I should technically be at work) could be fun.
The dinner party with the father-in-law and his wife went very well. He loves my food, he wasn't a grumpy asshat for a change, all was good.
Saturday, my mother-in-law let me off the hook for working in her attic because she was too tired and wanted to lie on her couch with a mug of tea and a murder mystery novel instead. (Actually, what she said was "I have too much work to do", but after 25 years, I understand her code.)
So I scrubbed all the tile floors on my hands and knees with a scrub brush to really get them clean, mopped, vacuumed, and gave the whole house a good cleaning. Which inspired the kids to VOLUNTARILY clean their room, which was nice.
And yesterday after church the mother-in-law came over for Sunday dinner, and she was actually complimentary instead of backhanded.
So this morning, I'm making cinnamon rolls and we're going for a playdate at a park on the other side of town with some friends.

Trigun doesn't show up on the Funimation website for me, but I just discovered that's because it's not on Funimation EU version. Assuming you're accessing the US version, I do concur with Trigun.

Being obsessive-compulsive, I track what date I turn off the heat every year.
I knew that it was always some time in March, but getting up this morning (and hate you Daylight Savings Time!) to a 36° F world and a maybe 50° F kitchen told me that maybe it's not quite time yet.
Then I saw an interesting pattern (and remember you non-U.S. people: In addtion to non-metric measures, we do dates as mm/dd/yy because we can't get anything right):
2015: Off 02/23/15. Stayed off
2016: Off 02/11/16. Had to turn it back on 03/02/16-03/16/16
2017: Off 03/09/17.
2018: Off 02/07/18. Had to turn it back on 02/15/18-03/27/18
Basically, it looks like every year it warms up enough in early February that I turn if off, then gets colder in early March to make me turn it on again.
Fortunately, this year with all the rain, I never bothered turning it off. (It's an oooooold heater, so turning it off and on again is a significant PITA because the gas knob is extremely sticky and hidden in a narrow recess with sharp metal edges.

This has been the weirdest freaking day.
Our school was actually under a "shelter in place" order, not a drill, for about an hour this afternoon because of a shooting about a half-mile from the school.
The other random weird fact is that the shooting happened in my co-teacher's backyard or driveway. Her husband was home sick from work and was texting her that he was looking down at the body from their upstairs window.
She had her in-laws come pick up the kids and take them for a night at grandma and grandpas so they wouldn't have to find out and get scared.
The victim was a fifteen-year-old kid.
The two perpetrators the cops are currently looking for are also teenagers.
Holy mother of mercy, this s@&& ain't right.
*Sends hugs, back pats and calming words and thoughts*
OK, the Italian side of the family has not eaten the tuna pizza yet but thinks the sardine pizza is a bad idea... Hrrrmmm. I wonder what I've gotten myself into.
*Nods vigorously and makes a 'yuck' face at the mentioning of sardines*
What do you do when you realize you don't have any urge to adventure at all? Its been over a year and I still feel the same about adventuring which is like na, zilch. I was hoping time would fix it, but nope it doesn't.
Is there a way on getting a fresh perspective and getting it back or should I just accept that its gone for good?

Burnout is a real thing and for me at least it doesn't normally pass quickly, though that said I usually spring back into things in less then a whole year…
Maybe you should look to a different game. See if you can get snuck into some other kind of Rpg then the usual PF games. Sometimes its a change of setting, backdrop and system that can get you back into gaming mode and get your creative juices flowing again.

OK, I'm feeling like I dodged a financial bullet here.
Our "favored" roofer (the one who did my mother's house) and then never showed up to do our house put in a bid of $47,000. This is ridiculously high (by comparison, I think Shiro's was $27,000), but I thought it was for the quality of his work.
Well, we asked around, and everyone recommended this other roofer. As I started telling him, "And I want one of those foam roofs..." he stopped me mid-sentence and said, "No, no you don't! That's a waste of money! That's for factories or flat-roof houses. You're MUCH better off just doing insulation, and it'll save you thousands..."
As I kept listing stuff the other roofer had agreed to do, he kept saying, "No, roofers aren't licensed to do that kind of work. No, that's much more expensive than what you need, and won't last as long because xxx..."
So basically, the original roofer agreed to everything I cluelessly asked for. The new roofer told me why what I was asking for made no sense, and refused to do any work beyond just plain fixing my roof: No painting, no structural changes, just a new roof guaranteed for 50 years. Plus working in parallel with the solar and insulator guys to ensure a long-lasting solution I'd never have to open.
His bid? $15,500. His time estimate? Late March or early April.
So yeah, I'm going to have to pay for a separate insulation guy (maybe $2000) and painter (maybe another $2000) and carpenter (probably $3000-$4000), but add it all up and for the minor inconvenience of having to bring in other people, I'm saving around $25,000 over the "one-stop shop" roofer. Over 50%. With a roofer all the city inspectors recommend as the best.
*Whew*! Thank goodness the other guy didn't show!

He has bruises, but he's a tumbler, he always has bruises. He looks/acts well, but he is skinny. But so was I when I was a kid, and he's tall for his age, so that has never worried me.
I do get time alone with him, and did this weekend, but he clams up if you try to talk about his mom/home life. Like, head down, won't say a word. I don't know how to get him to open up. I've always kind of put it down to that he doesn't want to talk/think about non-fun things when he could be doing fun things with Dad. And I don't want to push him if he isn't ready to talk about something.
She'll be moving half way across the country. Which isn't as big as it would be for, say, the States, but when you don't drive, it might as well be. She'll still have to facilitate fortnightly visits somehow, the courts will get involved otherwise, but visits will be more awkward, and more time will be taken up travelling.
Moved county, four times. Moved within a county, over a dozen. Within the county wasn't a problem, public transport is great within the capital. It's everywhere else that's the problem. Moving to the capital was the only time I moved to follow them, but it's also the place she's been the longest.
