your meatloaf, my life, lol.
At least you're talking Freehold. My wife has a friend whose husband came to bed, told her how happy he was to be married to her, then left divorce papers on the counter in the morning and left before she got up. You've still got something, even if it ends up being nothing. Best of luck.
Thank you.
Also, please forgive my nudity.

Freehold DM wrote: Morning all,
So today's the day I talk to my wife. I'm not sure what she's going to say or what I'm going to say. I'm going to listen as best as possible, but I'm going to speak up more than the last time.
I can't believe I've been living on a friends spare bed for just over a week. It still feels like a dream, that part. I did some role playing last night with my friends, who did their best to give me a worst case scenario and I was able to get some things out, even if I still don't know what to say today exactly. This morning I ran into my friend on the way to work, and confessed I didn't know what to do if things went south tonight. He said the shortest, wisest thing he could have when he told me that if I had to rebuild my life then that's what I would have to do, and he offered to help.
I don't know how to say it in the original Chinese, but it's true - one can never have too many friends.
Best wishes for whatever is a good outcome for you both.

Too much moisture? Did you add an egg?

I did not have old bread rolls so I used fresh toast bread, maybe it got to wet because of that
I'd add more breadcrumbs, or crushed saltines/ritz crackers (whatever the equivalent is in Deutschland.
At home for a face to face meeting with wife. Thanks for the positive waves in advance. Also prayed with a coworker earlier today l. We'll see how things go.

(and, now, back to getting over con crud while simultaneously preparing for three different PFS scenarios I'm running on Saturday, plus getting ready for our German exchange student's arrival on Monday)
Much positivity for you FH
Sometimes the best you can hope for is to understand what happened so you can avoid it in the future.
Back from work - with two hours of overtime. Bought a plane ticket for my mother.
Day before work was unimpressive.

I hope that FHDM's not posting for a few hours after going home to speak with wife is a good sign...
Well we ran out of coffee at the office, so we managed to scrounge up some decaf.
Last night I had a grand old time of role-playing, the custom setting of the GM's is very interesting and based off the Classics.
Anyway happy Friday.
digs out ten leaf clover
Good luck!
And good morning FaWtL folk, to a shiny new day. Friday is upon us, thank the RNG. Hope ya'll have a good day today and a wonderful weekend ahead.
Had a great game last night. One of the players who had left the game due to work scheduling was back for a guest appearance, which made the current storyline stall for a bit, but was a lot of fun to have them back.
Got classes in the capital this weekend, so staying with friends up there for the duration. Always good to catch up, and they have the most adorable cats. :3
Also Mother's Day this weekend, so gotta get something nice in for that. Lord knows I wouldn't have been able to handle the kidlet without my Mum's help, so want to make sure she feels appreciated. A bottle of wine and a nice card probably.
Good morning to all my FAWTLY BRETHREN out there in the wide world! Happy Friday!!! Earlier in the week they said it was going to be sunny today, but it looks like we're gettin rain instead.
That's ok, though.
Because.....
The Sun'll come out tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow
There'll be sun.
Just thinking about tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow
Til there's none.

And I get to leave work even earlier than usual. The title company requires all closing costs in excess of $25K to be wire transferred instead of cashiers check. So I've got to head over to the bank and take care of that. Hopefully, it'll go through pretty quickly.

Also, it looks like my wife might have a job interview on Monday. Woot!
On the down side, my shoulder area has been bothering me again. I'm beginning to wonder if I haven't damaged some muscle tissue or tendons. The pain is extradorinarily annoying. But nothing that can't be managed with ibuprofen.
And the occasional beer.
Good morning everyone.
Essentially moving back in. That's the upside. The downside is that.. Well.. My wife hasn't felt loved for some time. Desired, maybe, but not loved. We talked over beer and got quite drunk. We're taking things one day at a time and separation of one type or another is still on the table. But we're talking about finances and she's contributing. Augh. Not sure how much more to post here. Pm me for more.
And the boy has been acting out a bit more. Nothing too bad. Some screaming and yelling. Bits of temper tantrum. Stubbornness. Not unexpected, considering his age and the new baby sister he's dealing with.
But overall, he's a good kid.

Positive waves, dude. All any of us can ever do is take things one day at a time. That, and have a bit of faith that all will be right with the universe. It just takes time. You do what you've got to do, and everything will work out. One way or another.
We've never met in real life, but I consider you a friend. I wish you all the best. And if there's anything I can do for you, you just let me know.
And I say that knowing of your love of all things wintery and cold. See how understanding I am?
:)

I'm sure. He's quite normal sounding.
And, with that bit, I must depart. Extra short day in the office, and I've got s*%* to be doing.

thank you, my friend. I am still quite shaken by the entire situation, and I'm still hurting. But as I said last night, there are moments like this in every relationship and the people involved have to move forward together and learn from it.

FHDM, Good to hear there is some progress and chance to get things better again. Even if it isn't immediate solution.

And this post is written from the tablet!
Navigating this is a bit wonky, though.
And after submitting a post I still retain open text box full of text.

Clunky? Google drive mobile interface! That is clunky!
At least this time submitting a post went correctly
Nice toy. But 80 pounds is quite an amount of money...
By the way - I need to get myself accustomed to using word suggestions...
It would be a better day if I hadn't have a headache. I need to go to work soon... Friday - no overtime today. I opted for a free Saturday and overtime on Sunday.
I might buy myself one too.

Did that last week! Leaned over to wipe down the table ofter lunch and my back just went out. I was out the rest of the day. :/ I can touch my chin to my chest without a jolt of pain down my back now. HUZZAH!!! Yep. I still can't do that. And it was Monday that I hurt my back :(
