I think I'll get a nap. My head gives me impression there is storm/weather change brewing (but it might be just matter of heat).

Not that kind of heat.

Meh. Got an e-mail that I didn't qualified for the job I applied after a Tuesday meeting.

It would be taste-testing products for Tesco... The negative response was that I didn't qualified due to food aversion: on the questionnaire I noted that I strongly dislike blood sausage and head cheese... I wouldn't expect those to be so popular products that they would be subject to taste-testing. *sigh*

I expected to get to test session at least.

Well, it sounds like you're better off not being part of the "all blood sausage/all head cheese/all the time" taste test.
Except for a chance of earning about 50 zloty a week. Not much comparing to what I need but still useful. Especially that it would take about five-six hours (one hour getting there, two hours there, two-three hours getting back).

Yeah, that's not a job I think I could do. I'm far too picky >_>

hi everyone

I couldn't be a taste tester, either. I'm way to finicky about food.

I'm hopeful that something will work out for you job-wise, Drejk.

So, at work we occasionally get these real estate books dropped off. Sometimes, I like to browse them when I am bored, which is often. Today, one listing caught my eye.

"Additional 16 x 67.50 x 101 x 141 lot included..."

So apparently if you buy the house you also get a four-dimensional space to go with it. Seems like a bargain at only $99,900. Anyone interested?

Chuck Norris never acted in a play directed by William Shakespeare, though.

William Shakespeare is Chuck Norris' pen name.

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Thursday!

Scarab Sages

Maybe. Still too early to tell.

But I just got a few emails that throw the "happy" part into question.

So, now it's time to go do stuff. Take it easy.

Well I hope it's nothing serious, or even mildly irritating. Anyway I've got the next day and a half off - well actually that should be from now onwards. But here I am stuck in the office waiting for my boss to come out of a meeting so I can actually finish a project.

Just what I needed first thing in the morning. A person who tried to start a religious argument and Paizo staff deleted their post trying to bait me into continuing it via PMs.

No #V^&ing Thank You. Wouldn't be interested even if you weren't someone on my ignore list.

Three things I try very hard to avoid discussing on the grounds of actually liking being on polite terms with people: politics, religion, sports. Given the nature of the internet, very close to adding shipping to the list...

...And my evil brain decided to combine the four.

Shipping was actually on my list already. I tend to forget about sports because I avoid it more out of lack of interest than desire to avoid conflict >_>

Spoiler for season 3 of Homeland - both Claire Danes's and Damien Lewis's characters loses a leg.

Shipping?

Postage & Packaging, relationshipping, boats, or something else?

The second.

...I'm...half tempted to see if there's FedEx/UPS fic.

I'm sure there's a rule of the internet that answers that for you. I don't remember what it is though.

Man, I don't know. I've never been able to get into fanfic, and the stuff I stumble across blindly tends to not give me a ringing endorsement.

That's what I was thinking - however who knows (there's at least one postal thread on paizo that's annoyed me). I haven't read enough fan-fic to have any opinion about it, though I guess most authors need an editor.

I've had the benefit of only reading fanfic that's been already recommended to me as good. (For example, the entirety of my Evangelion knowledge comes from a pair of fanfics recommended on TVTropes.) I don't go blindly looking for it hoping to stumble across the good stuff; I let someone else do that for me.

Even that said, I've only read a small handful. I took some shots at writing it when I was younger, but rather quickly moved on to writing either original characters in a pre-made setting (not sure it qualifies as fanfic if you're only using the world but not any of the original story/show/game's characters) and/or my own work from top to bottom.

hi everyone,

I wholeheartedly recommend that Hulk Hogan/Arcee erotic fanfic not just for its tasteful subtlety but for its honesty.

I lost interest as soon as you said Erotic. I don't do anything above maybe PG13. Not my thing.

I stick to Skyrim and my STEAM account for matter of frustration. That is until I loose internet access. Then my frustration becomes all to real.

And even websites too when they insist on changing according to my ip - if I wanted to read Polish version, I would enter Polish language version, not English. The same applies to all programs that adjust their language version without asking....

I have not see Pacific Rim. I want to see that, This Is The End, The Heat, The Lone Ranger...

Damn.

I should just spend all day Saturday at the theater. :D

Pacific Rim is the bestest EVAR!!!! The Lone Ranger is not really worth it. I regretted not waiting until video for that one. Haven't seen the other two.

I *really* want to support The Heat in theaters so that there will be more non-romantic comedy "chick flicks". Best way to encourage more cool stuff be made? Make the cool stuff profitable!
