Move me from the "definite maybe" to "definite yes" column.

A bunch of stuff...

Yeah all this about the crab pot +1. I love anthony's outdoor fish and chips, but last time I ate inside I had a really really bland meal and it ruined my taste for the place outside of the fish and chips. It was likely just a bad day in the kitchen, but I've been unwilling to pay another $100 for two people for a meal that was very meh. Also, the other seafood place I recommended is owned by anthony's but I've never had a bad meal there. Though anthony's some of the best fish and chips I've ever eaten and tasty beers including a hefe I really like and if you're on the wharf and it's a nice day, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Hey, how come I haven't spammed this thread? Count me in!!! and probable plus one, gotta check that up.

If you're looking for waterfront seafood of the spendy variety, IMO Elliott's completely wails on Anthony's. Both are about the same level of ridiculous prices, but the food at Elliott's is far better.

If you have a car you could also check out Chinook's at Fisherman's Terminal (a little hard to find for an out-of-towner perhaps, but worth the trip). Very good stuff.

For fish and chips, I love the old-school Spud fish and chips (Seattle's oldest fast food restaurant, so they claim, founded in 1935), especially at the Alki location, though they have others (Green Lake, Juanita on the Eastside).

Ooh! If there is still room, I'll be there with my +1!

The Exchange

I'll be there as well. Assuming there's room.

oh and I almost forgot,

R.F.B.U.2011!

Chinooks! That's the place. Great seafood, reasonable prices, owned by anthony's... I think. Elliots is one of those places that have off days to me. I honestly think their watermelon thing for the oysters is amazing, but I think their oysters are second rate. They always taste, less good than they could be. Brooklyn I feel, has better oysters in general but I do miss the watermelon mignonette(sp?).

I wouldn't know from oysters, as I don't eat em. Ironic perhaps that I would pimp Elliott's when oysters are one of their signature dishes, but the rest of their menu is dee-lish!

Count me and my boyfriend in for a total of 2.

Time to ruin your math! Remove my 4 we've got something else happening at that time frame! My apologies for not having thoroughly checked before hand.

Timitius wrote:

The question was posed in another thread if I should be getting a head count of those planning on attending.....

The answer: YES!!!!

Please sound off here, with the fact you will be attending, AND if you are representing more than yourself, how many.

If you are counting more than yourself, just make sure that those people don't come on here and post that they are attending as well. That'll inflate the numbers REAL fast.

SO, SOUND OFF!!

I should be coming. The restaurant is right down the street from my house, I think.

I'll be dragging along my friend Brian.

That's around 95 people attending now. Almost a week from now!

We still have room for more, though!

20% holy moly do think I am,made of money :) Anyway I thought someone was taking care of the bill?

Our reservation is in, and the space is BOOKED! We will have a good amount of additional space this year, in antici.........pation of about 100 people attending.

Oh, and as of this post....35 attending thus far.

Is this within walking distance of the Coast Bellevue? I'd like to go, but we're relegating to walking distance or cab rides, and I'd rather save my $$ for the food everybody here tells me is so amazing!

Yes, definitely. It's a short walk even if you get slightly lost walking over w/out the crowd to guide you :)

Add +1 please (hope there's still room!) This is my first Paizocon, and I suspect that I will be there early.

And I will be there too.

The Exchange

I would come as well.

Add one "Painlord" to the list, please.

The Exchange

If there's still room, you can add 3 more to the list!

Confirming myself and two others for the Crab Pot meet and eat. Looking forward to stuffing myself with yummy salmon and crab yet again!

I'm in for some seafood this year; easier now that the new office is a short jaunt up the road.

Scarab Sages

Add me too, if there's still room.

As one of this guy's passengers, I'll be coming, too. I'm guessing our other passenger is also coming. So that's another two.

Scarab Sages

I just found out about this! I'll be there with my girlfriend. Even if this is closed now or full or whatever, I'll be there as a patron of the Crab Pot.

No, I believe we are at 111 people now....and I anticipated the attendance would be this high.

I can't tell anyone that they CAN'T come. You just might not get a seat with the group if we exceed the reservation amount.

Which we haven't.....yet.

As a little side-note: This is over THREE TIMES the number of attendees at the first PaizoCon. I...am humbled.

Me too...*sniffles*

I'm so proud! ^_^

Lantern Lodge

For the curious: here is the crab pot's website.

Note: there are two locations of the crab pot. Make sure you are going to the Bellevue one ;)

Also... I CAN'T WAIT!

Make my "definite yes" a "definite yes" +1 -- one of my old friends from college will be joining me for the crab pot feast of awesomeness.

Liberty's Edge

Definite yes to the meet and eat.

In other news: What gives? I only got signed up for one event! I marked a number on all of them!

You actually GOT a lottery event? Wow, lookit Mr. Fancypants. A lot of people got zip in the lottery, so count yourself lucky!

Add another to the 'Probably showing up' pile. as I work ~3 buildings down from the crab pot I have no excuse for Not attending.

Not coming. I doubt you counted my washy response, but just in case. Have fun all!

Lantern Lodge

walking directions from Coast to Crab Pot

iirc though, its a busy route so please be observant of traffic.

I just noticed this wasn't the same thing as the banquet (don't know why I thought that it was). If there's still room, I'll see everyone at the Crab Pot tomorrow.

The Exchange

So... hungry. o.o

Attending!

I will attempt to attend this tomorrow, but I don't know if I can get off work early enough to get the 4 hour drive to seattle done.

The Exchange

I would Love to go but will not have a car. But will be at the hotel. Can I bum a ride?

Google it, if it's the place I'm 99% sure it is, you can totally walk to it!

Dark Archive

Here's a walking route from the hotel to the Crab Pot. MAP

I might only be dropping by to say hi. Another engagement is happening an hour later, that I need to go to.

I won't take up a spot with so many others wanting to attend.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

For the information of all Meet & Eat attendees:

Several of us will be meeting up in the lobby at 5:30pm to walk over as a group. If you're interested, please join us (and we will attack the restaurant en masse)!

The Exchange

*Sigh* You can subtract my 3. Our flight got delayed several hours. :P

Scarab Sages

Last year we were an hour late 'cause we slept in and there was some room because several people had left, so just come a little late if we've hit the reservation number already.

This year we're meeting in the entrance lobby and walking over at 5:30.

The Exchange

I'm not going to make it this year. Sigh. So - how Do I get my ticket to some one that would like it?

if your interested e-mail me at wadehone @ Hotmail.com

thanks.
