Ok everyone, please post here as soon as possible and we can work on character building and backgrounds.
Creation Guidlines:
Core Rulebook and APG only
20 pt buy, no ability under 8
2 traits
Average Starting Gold for Class
Background:
An unnamed siege castle has stood in the Cairnlands for hundreds if not thousands of years, magically sealed after the death of its forgotten master. But recently, a minor earthquake rocked the land, accomplishing in moments what dozens of scholars, sages, and adventurers could not achieve in years—the quake caused part of the siege castle to collapse, opening its interior for the first time in centuries. The locals now call this tower the Fallen Fortress.
Would like to have the PC's know each other in some way already. The module gives a few ideas you can draw off of.
1. Some of you could be members of Absalom’s Eagle Garrison, scouting for possible threats to the city in the Cairnlands. Their commanding officer sends them to the Fallen Fortress to ensure that whatever is there is no threat to Absalom.
2. A local church could ask the PC's to explore the ruined siege castle, perhaps to investigate rumors of undead within the tower or to recover a religious relic thought to be inside. The church offers 1,000 gp for the return of the relic.
3. A historian or wealthy collector hires the PCs to collect
any historical or valuable artifacts that might still be
within the ruined tower. The collector offers up to 250
gp per character for their trouble.

I was thinking everyone has their own affiliation, like Valletin could be part of the church, but the driving force to the expedition is the wealthy collector. All the PC's were selected from their respective organization by the collector to comprise a sort of exploration unit.
Let me know what you guys think. Also, after the module, I may take this on as a free form game.

Found so far:
Valletin – typo on Longbow att bonus says +12. What source is the Eyes and Ears of the City trait from?
Delrugar – What source is the Tomb Raider trait from?
Gandel – Looks good to go.
Harold – I will not be allowing Heirloom Weapon.
| Gandel |
Tomb Raider is a Faction Trait (Osirion) from Guide to Society Organized Play (p 15). +1 bonus on Perception and Knowledge (dungeoneering) checks and one of these skills (your choice) is always a class skill for you.
Eyes and Ears of the City is a Religion Trait (Abadar) from Legacy of Fire Players Guide (p 9). +1 trait bonus on Perception checks.

Whoa, bummer...
Not as bad as it sounds, really. It just that I have a couple RL games, plus one I am DMing, plus I am planning a Dragonlance game for next year, and it is hard to explain why I am always on the computer playing as well as going to friends playing. And playing includes planning and pbping, so I need to cut out some, that's all.

Found so far:
Harold – I will not be allowing Heirloom Weapon.
That's fine. I have adjusted Harold's equipment and traits accordingly.
I will still be calling it his 'ancestral weapon', even though he gains no mechanical benefit from doing so ;-)
EDIT: So, *are* you allowing the tomb-raider trait?

Yes I am allowing it. Heirloom Weapon, it is more of the trait not the source.

My wife would do the same if I was playing that much. Not to say I don't want to :)

Well I had Korganna about 60% done editing it in the window....when suddenly instead of CTRL V I hit I think [FN] B or something, whichever one reloads the page for me...so I'll finish her tomorrow, it's 1:30 AM to my body at the moment.
heh took Spark Orison...don't be surprised if things burn down sometimes...it's just her nature...
This character is a bit of an odd-bird for me, I don't normally play such destructive non-heroic characters...but when I saw Rovagug under deities for Battle Oracle, the ideas just popped out...

She's just about ready, her background is OK, I just need to edit it, it's stream of conscious at the moment. I need to select my traits as well.
Gear is good, she travels, kinda light. As in she doesn't have a lot of junk, but she does have a LARGE SACK!!! LoL (never had a character that didn't have a backpack.)
