I'm sorry to hear of your troubles, but glad that you're still with us. And don't worry about the game, it will be here, and you're always welcome back when you're feeling better.

I'm alive! I've had a ton of seizures over the past few weeks. (Don't worry, this is just how my brain is. Not a medical emergency.) It's been rough. This is the worst it's been in years. I apologize for not posting to this effect earlier, but the seizures hit my language centers pretty hard, making it difficult to speak or type.
But I'm too stubborn to quit. I'm slowly peeling myself up off the metaphorical asphalt and putting the pieces back together. Thank you for bearing with me.
I confess, I was a little concerned at the silence. Now I'm very concerned, but very glad to see you again.

Don't know about where you all live, but it is cold AF here. The snow was enough that I got called into work for emergency snow removal, and bad enough that I told them I wasn't coming.
Did have to shovel a lot today, though. My back is going to be sore tomorrow.
Also as a side note, I'm taking my oldest to a convention this weekend, so I won't be posting on Friday.

I'm mostly relieved to hear from you! Thank you for the update, and good luck with your recovery!
Have fun at the convention, GM!

Ironically, having "thrown in the towel" and asked for help, I have had a breakthrough and might know how I need to proceed. I will still take anything anyone can share because I love to see how other folks do their builds.
@Cev - Classes? Surprise me. A Fighter/Cleric/Rogue/Wizard is fine or bring in one of the "newer" options (stated as if I'm a grognard), it's all good. I just want to give the players options.
@Sphen - I appreciate the suggestion. I have the level 4 pre-gens, now that you mention it. I will give them a go.
I think I owe you some characters ... let me know if you still want them.

You owe me nothing, but I appreciate the willingness to help. The game was tonight and I had ten characters for them to choose from, mostly ready. We spent an hour fine-tuning and reacquainting the players with the rules of PF1e and had a good time.

We got a lot of snow for us and it has been bone-chilling, but our neighbor is a saint with a fascination for snowblowers and he cleared our driveway and sidewalks twice before the storm was done. I only had about fifteen minutes' work to do and I completed it in ten. Because cold.
I have only had to push a single car out so far and we are starting to see some melting, so tomorrow will be a mess but people will be getting around once more. We'll see what my back thinks about pushing that car tomorrow morning...

We do occasionally get a snowmageddon, but this winter has treated us gently. Actually now it's quite nice amount of snow - enough to make it look pretty and wintery (and more light), but not so much it would make moving around impossible. I've needed a shovel only once so far to get my car out of parking slot.
Not too cold so far either, but forecast for the weekend is -20C. So I might feel different very soon :D| Sherman Blake |
Hope it's nothing serious. Wishing you a speedy recovery
Estella Vale
Get well soon! Take it easy. Think it's from the cold weather?
GM Sphen
Appreciate the well wishes everyone.
@Estella: Probably the cold and the amount of time I had to spend out in shoveling snow.
I feel guilty even posting anything about it, especially since some of us have much more serious medical issues that we should all be supportive of.
But I'm back and posting. Still need about half the team to post their actions.

I expect to have limited access to the Internet for the next week+ as we will be enjoying a bus tour. I'll check in as time and access allows, as usual, but wanted to forewarn you in case I go quieter than usual.
Cheers!

Hello, friends. The bus tour was fantastic and we are safely returned home.
Sherman Blake
Good to hear you had fun. Did you see any cool new places?
Also, I'll heading to the slopes for the rest of the week. Internet should work, but let's see if I have time & energy for posting.
GM Sphen
I've always wanted to do a bus tour. The local MTD uses mostly New Flyer's Xcelsior models out of Canada. And those aren't very interesting.
Did you see any Mercedes-Benz Citaro or a Volvo B12BLE?
Or the new Wrightbus New Routemaster from the UK?
@Sherman: Have fun on the slopes. I look forward to seeing you on the Olympic podium. It's a gold medal or your out of the game.

I feel like someone is having fun with my word choice. Not a tour of busses, a tour riding a bus.
The goal was to see Yellowstone National Park in the snow. We’ve been there twice before in the fall, but it is a different experience in the winter. Unfortunately, while they have had snow, they are well behind normal. I have no complaints, but the locals live off money made in the snowy season, so for them, it’s not been a great year.
A fun addition was a train trip through the Rocky Mountains, which is always awesome, but the lack of snow was a little disappointing.
We saw a couple of museums to break up the travel time that were interesting and made a lot of new friends among our traveling companions.
All in all, I would highly recommend the trip. Hopefully we can try again in a year with more snow.

Snow or no, that sounds like an absolutely delightful trip, I'm jealous!

Just trying to poke fun at English, not at your english.

Taken as intended, then. Poking fun at English is a favored pastime of mine.

Damn, I best start looking for new games. I hear them olympic peeps practice more than once a year.

As a reminder, April 20th through the 27th is a non-posting week from me.
It's Farmageddon time.
Also, the time after that will see limited posting from me as I process reports after the event.
