I've learned that some people are willing to run screaming to their computer to post about how 'broken' X feature is without seeing it in play, or when it's only mildly unbalanced.
I've also learned to not worry so much about class balance, and to worry more about making sure that I reward my players for playing a character they want to play, however suboptimal it might be.
Lastly, I've learned that replacing any given curse word with smurf (ESPECIALLY the g*$# word) is the way to go.
