NW Georgia Intro to PFS -- Aug 21

For those interested in learning about the Pathfinder Society "Living" campaign, I am going to run an intro, low tier game (1st-3rd) on Sat, Aug 21 from 7:30-11 pm. I am only taking 6 players for this game and only have time to run one game that Saturday night. The game will be at my house in Dallas.

More info on the Pathfinder Society can be found at http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety and you can download the Guide to Pathfinder Society organized play there for free. You will need to make a character per the guidelines found in that document.

I am going to try to keep this going and have one Saturday per month devoted to running Pathfinder Society Scenarios as a mini PFS game day. I may expand this from 1 game to 2 or 3 games on a Saturday depending on interest. Also, if I get other people interested in DMing, we could run 2 different tables.

Currently, the following scenarios are retired and can no longer be run in the Pathfinder Society:

#10: Blood at Dralkard Manor
#15: Asmodeus Mirage
Retired from play on March 29, 2010

#9: Eye of the Crocodile King
#18: The Trouble with Secrets
#21: The Eternal Obelisk
Retired from play on May 24, 2010

Season 0 scenarios (#1-28) are all going to be eventually retired. So, I am thinking we try to knock those out first before moving on to Season 1 scenarios. Season 2 just began at Origins this year and there are currently only 4 of those available for play.

So, for Saturday, Aug 21, I will be running Pathfinder Society Scenario #1, Silent Tide. I will be running the Tier 1-2 module since this will serve as an introduction to Pathfinder Society.

So, I will take the first six players who reserve a spot. I will also plan a waiting list in case I have commits who back out. Let me know ASAP if you want into this first game. Please email me at [e-mail] instead of replying here.

There will be forums set up shortly for Pathfinder Society discussions, Pathfinder Society Game Days added to the calendar through the end of 2010, and an info tab at the top.
