World War I ends more quickly and less bloody after Tesla (who is a proud Serbian) convinces Edison to influence US involvement in the conflict.

Agreed. However yours focused on the Roman world while I concentrated on the fate of those darn 'Barbarians'. Besides Gaul being safe in the long term from Villa Dwelling wine snobs is a fate the world deserves to have twice over.
Besides, Druidism as the dominant religion in the west is very cool.

Within 100 years the roman legions are fielding troops in steam powered vehicles to their remote regions using their legendary roads. Rome never falls to invasion from the north as they can get an army anywhere in a day.

This would result with no Masquerade rpg by White Wolf, at least then there's no masquerade larping... goth does not take hold... and then there's no Vampire$ novel (and film), no Underworld film series, no Hellsing manga/anime series, Buffy the vampire slayer is not created, the career of Sarah Michelle Gellar does not happen, Joss Whedon does not create Firefly and no Serenity film... and also he doesn't create Dr Horrible's Sing along blog or Dollhouse, the career of Nathan Fillion does not take hold, also Summer Glau does not get her break nor go on to then star in the Sarah Connors chronicles the good thing... no bloodrayne series (and then that means no to the Uwe Boll film, yeah!), also since Gellar does not have the career, she does not go on with the Scooby Doo film with her husband and instead better folks are casted. Also this string of developments mean no True Blood series, but hey, there's no Twilight series and their twinkling vampires either.

Except for a truly western religion as opposed to a middle eastern cult that calls itself western imported by Constantine and as such, a whole way of thinking which we only have broad hints about.

Ahh Celtic dreams - crush the Sassenach and take back what's ours... I would say that Vespasian, Severus, Domitian, Hadrian would have had a go and would have more likely been willing to go the full genocide. The southern British were already economically part of the Romano-Gallic world. Taking Britain was important in making sure the Gauls weren't stirred up (especially that village with the big fellow with the menhirs and that little fellow with the potion of super-strength).

That's kind of what happened IRL, only they were Irish Monks rather then the Roman Army. Besides, the state of Intellectualism in the late Roman empire was weak, in part because Christianity, decadence, and infighting from within had weakened those traditions, particularly in the West.
There's really good book on the subject called "How the Irish Saved Civilization" by Thomas Cahill.
Anyway, I will do another alternate universe.

Awesome thread and if my old home computer hadn't died July 25 I would have jumped in sooner. Anyway...
In the late 990s Leif Ericsson gathers a much larger group of colonists and supplies and lands in numerous spots along the coast of Newfoundland, allowing the Norse to maintain a long term settlement and this forms the basis of a trading (and occasionally raiding) empire that ranges all along the eastern coast of the Americas. The native people are exposed to a lesser disease load from the Norse than they would be from other Europeans and native communities develop resistance to European diseases more effectively so that by the time other European states arrive the natives and the Norse are able to beat them back.
The Apollo 1 fire and continuing trouble in Vietnam slow American work on the moon landing project and in late 1969 the Soviet Union lands the first man (or possibly woman, female cosmonauts first went up in the mid 60s) on the moon.
In the second world war, the Nazis encourage the Japanese to attack the Soviet Union from the east while the European Axis powers attack from the west. Under the combined onslaught the Soviet Union falls and Germany works to complete the occupation of its portion of the Soviet Union and invade England to secure control of Europe, while the Japanese press ahead with invasions of larger areas of China and of the Indian subcontinent. Because the Japanese focused on defeating the Soviet Union, they do not attack Pearl Harbor and the US never enters the war as a full combatant. (This one in some form has already been done but decided to add it anyhow)
As an aside to the above I've noticed that the classics of alt history (Axis victory in the Second World War, the CSA winning the US civil war, Napoleon conquering the world, the rise and fall of the Roman Empire) are all out in full force but then again, cliches aren't necessarily bad

This next one isn't a decision but the effect could have been incredible. The Soviet Union invades Afghanistan in 1979 and the western powers provide limited and ineffective assistance to the resistance fighters in the country, allowing the Soviets to consolidate their hold and in the early 1980s the Soviets invade the battered and weakened Islamic Republic of Iran, gaining the Soviets a vast oil reserve, ports on the Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea and significant control over the Strait of Hormuz. This new economic lifeblood allows the Soviet Union to strengthen its forces and the Cold War drags on.

Ramses the II chariot forces wipe out the Hittite advance force at the battle of Qadesh before the Hittites can successfully cross the river. Hittite King Muwatellish's reserves, comprised of forces from the Hittites allies are also cut down. Ramses' forces, emboldened by their victory, continue north, eventually conquering the Hittite Empire and allowing Egypt to stand against the Sea Peoples and Babylonian Empire.

OPTION A - The TARDIS is built entirely on the outside of a Higgs field. The field is distorted so that there is considerable TARDIS content in a hollow on the Higgs surface.
OPTION B - The TARDIS 'Surface and internals' is a Higgs Field.Answer: If you chose Option B. You will be further along than most.
That should give you somewhere to start. :)
Assuming that gravity exists and is not just a side effect of other forces. Which negates higgs fields and dark matter. :P

The Hyksos peoples are never deposed from Egyptian rule. There is never a second kingdom. Moses grows up in his family nice and secure with a Hebrew name and a simple migration back to the promised land happens. No great conflict happens and the walls of Jericho never fall. The ruins of the old city walls still stand with the modern city built up around it.
